It also is something I believe. It’s clear that the other deities had power so they had to have it from somewhere, they were likely demons leading humans astray.

2020-12-10 16:41:29 UTC

I grew up in a very conservative bretheren background so thats probably why i never heard of this but it is cool (in a not cool kinda way if you know what i mean)

2020-12-10 16:41:56 UTC

I know what you mean

2020-12-10 16:42:07 UTC

Why would your upbringing prevent you from knowing this?

2020-12-10 16:46:56 UTC

the church i grew up in didnt seem to believe much in spirits and the like, my family was called mystics in response to us beleiving the Holy Spirit did stuff lol

2020-12-10 16:48:56 UTC

they said they beleived in the Spirit and stuff, like they would say the Spirit led me to say this and that but practically they were more Father, Son, and Holy Bible

2020-12-10 16:49:15 UTC

I personally don't believe that

2020-12-10 16:49:24 UTC

Not mentioned any where

2020-12-10 16:49:40 UTC

I do believe that they could be around as fallen angels

2020-12-10 16:50:28 UTC

But being deities before the fall is impossible

2020-12-10 16:52:29 UTC

Seeing as the main reason for the coup that took 1/3 of the angels was because Lucifer thought He could become a God

2020-12-10 16:53:37 UTC

Lucifer was the highest ranked angel too

2020-12-10 16:53:50 UTC

went to his head i'd say

2020-12-10 16:53:55 UTC

Mhm

2020-12-10 16:54:21 UTC

But you don't see any mention in cannon of any council like that before the fall

2020-12-10 16:55:44 UTC

And what would be the point of 1 All-powerful God appointing several angels to take care of things, that iirc, don't even exist yet.

2020-12-10 16:56:30 UTC

I'm being told about an Israeli general talking about aliens existing

2020-12-10 16:56:33 UTC

No the point wasn’t that

2020-12-10 16:56:41 UTC

what is going on?

2020-12-10 16:56:59 UTC

demons

2020-12-10 16:57:11 UTC

demons

2020-12-10 16:57:14 UTC

The train of thought on this theory goes that, after the angels fell they wanted to achieve godhood so much that they started acting as though they were gods

2020-12-10 16:58:03 UTC

Talking about this guys comment

2020-12-10 16:58:08 UTC

They became known as these gods too and they had some limited power

2020-12-10 16:59:01 UTC

I mean it would make sense, as False Gods have so many flaws.

2020-12-10 17:00:49 UTC

I'm pretty sure a real demon would be the most normal thing to happen in 2020

2020-12-10 17:02:13 UTC

Looking into this council and don’t have enough time to consider it rn lol

2020-12-10 17:03:00 UTC

I could be wrong, but is this the same council mentioned in Job?

2020-12-10 17:03:22 UTC

I’m not sure, I could look into it later

2020-12-10 17:03:30 UTC

Have to finish an English paper lol

2020-12-10 17:04:08 UTC

lol, better finish that first

2020-12-10 17:09:45 UTC

This covers the whole council and stuff

2020-12-10 17:10:09 UTC

I totally forgot about the divine council in Job haha

2020-12-10 17:12:30 UTC

I am assuming that link is ok as it is relevant to the conversation.

2020-12-10 17:32:40 UTC

I’m also going to send a link so that it’s easy to understand

2020-12-10 17:35:46 UTC

Easy to understand. It’s not too in-depth, but it should be okay for what I’m trying to get across

2020-12-10 17:38:12 UTC

I suggest anyone who is interesting in this theory should watch both videos. It’s a very interesting set of concepts,

2020-12-10 17:38:33 UTC

I believe that is the main part of the Bible where they are showcased.

2020-12-10 17:38:59 UTC

They don’t show up too much, but they are kinda like God’s decision making team.
