any tips on disproving that jesus wasnt real?

2021-01-29 06:15:36 UTC

tell that mf to go look in a history book

2021-01-29 06:15:49 UTC

even atheists acknowledge his existence

2021-01-29 06:18:30 UTC

Well to be fair there is different between anger and righteous anger. He had a reason to be angry at the people in the temple

2021-01-29 06:29:34 UTC

All they need to research is if he died and did he resurrect.

2021-01-29 06:31:48 UTC

yeah

thanks, they said that he was a bunch of people told to be one
he said he is right because of 'Historical records'

2021-01-29 16:37:08 UTC

Idk I sometimes think if we never stopped stoning people or burning them we wouldn’t have trannys everywhere

2021-01-29 18:32:20 UTC

I think that there have always been sinful people, it’s just how open they were about it and how much the culture accepted and promoted it

**Boston 1775**
"And where the body of the people, or any single man, is deprived of their right, or is under the exercise of a power without right, and have no appeal on earth, then they have a liberty to appeal to heaven, whenever they judge the cause of sufficient moment."

There are more historic references to lost and dead civilizations that some sources never even mention and the ones that do mention it confirm it. For example, if your going to disproove Jesus based on lack of historic records, there are even Less of emperor Nero so if Jesus didnt exist, neither did most historical figures before him. Also if Jesus did not exist, why did the calender go from BC, to DC based on the year of his death?

2021-01-29 22:10:53 UTC

Heck Atlantis was only mentioned once by a philosopher and people believe it was a real place even though that is the ONLY historic reference to it.

The key to destroying an argument is to get the other person to make a circle around what they define as the truth. If you find even one contradiction outside of it, their entire argument is invalid.

Now if you want to watch them break their world view you have to trick them into contradicting their own argument in a way that they become aware of it without you pointing it out, but self awareness is a requirement.

2021-01-29 22:20:08 UTC

Absolute statements are the easiest parts to go for.

2021-01-29 22:25:21 UTC

Example:
"all religions are valid." 'What about the religion that says all the others are false?'
once they have changed their argument, simply pointing out how they had to change their argument because they were wrong makes their position weaker.

BC to DC? The calender when from BC, Before Christ, to AD, Anno Domini. Which translates to Year of our Lord.

2021-01-29 23:54:07 UTC

The birth of Jesus it what changed the calendar, not his death

2021-01-29 23:54:18 UTC

Jesus died in 33 AD

2021-01-30 02:54:15 UTC

Same principle applies I’d say though

2021-01-30 05:27:02 UTC

Yep

2021-01-30 05:27:13 UTC

Anno Domini, "Year of Our Lord"

2021-01-30 10:47:11 UTC

and then these globalist bastards (pardon my french) are trying to make it “CoMmOn ErA”

2021-01-30 10:47:49 UTC

I get so angry when I hear that

2021-01-30 12:53:40 UTC

Yeah messed that up, BC AD, to remember that we called it Before Christ, After Death as kids

2021-01-30 16:17:16 UTC

There are so many problems with the bce and ce that people are trying to change it to. Like, what defines "common era"? Because in that case every year would be 1 ce

2021-01-30 16:43:39 UTC

Thank God my school still does BC and not this BCE bullshit

2021-01-30 16:55:00 UTC

I used CE and BCE for AP exams, as well as LDC and MDC.

2021-01-30 17:10:48 UTC

Again, another method to try and change history to wipe history from the schools

2021-01-30 17:12:20 UTC

To be honest, the reason people are Atheist is not because they dont beleive in god, but they dont want anyone to judge how they behave. And if you kill god then the only people who can judge you is the government. And if you control the government, you control your god.

2021-01-30 17:20:30 UTC

so true. except that "killing god" does nothing lol, He's still there and still gonna judge

2021-01-30 17:34:21 UTC

Isreal did the same thing. They wanted a king and big government like all the other nations around them even though God told them the level of corruption and opression they would face. Even slavery.

2021-01-30 17:34:58 UTC

But people are comfortable with a slavery of choice rather than an uncomfortable lack of control.

2021-01-30 17:35:51 UTC

like how we see that in the end Israel would become a Jewish nation again and they shall yell peace and security that sort of stuff

2021-01-30 17:39:26 UTC

Well, now instead of Relying on god they rely on that big sweet multi million stimulus check from uncle sam, once again choosing government and federal aid rather than you know, doing it themselves.

2021-01-30 17:40:25 UTC

yup

2021-01-30 19:43:30 UTC

Topic change, favorite parable and why?

2021-01-30 20:14:33 UTC

Prodigal Son

2021-01-30 20:35:13 UTC

yeah i like that one too
