I would suspect that Civil War (in the UK) in some form may be a risk when Brexit date comes and goes with no actual changes...

"Man enjoys watching women" Not very newsworthy outside Queen or Thunder from Down Under

2019-02-04 20:03:43 UTC [Subverse #general]

What does that mean for people who are trying to re-write history then?

2019-02-04 20:04:44 UTC [Subverse #general]

The big difference in Healthcare between Republicans and Democrats is, I think, that Dems want it at the Federal Level and Reps want States to have the choice

2019-02-04 22:09:07 UTC [Subverse #general]

I don't want power, I don't want anyone relying on me. Money, well of course I want money

2019-02-04 22:10:23 UTC [Subverse #general]

I plan to live forever, so far so good

2019-02-04 22:10:51 UTC [Subverse #general]

yikes

2019-02-04 22:53:22 UTC [Subverse #shitposting]

Exactly that

2019-02-04 22:53:29 UTC [Subverse #shitposting]

Living in Las Vegas 4 times that

Only if the worker is willing to put the risk on the line like the ower, then sure.

If the only risk is not having a job then I don't think "the workers" deserve any more share of teh proffits

2019-02-04 23:35:04 UTC [Subverse #dank-memes-only]

Ok I love that one

If an average CEO cut his pay in HALF and paid it out to his workers I would suspect that most would see less that a $10 annual raise.... So where is the benifit?

Ok, then how?

Becasue that income represents a HUGE investment on behalf of the CEO

and would equal basically nothing to his workers

(or hers)

:p

If he had 2 Billion he would not be investing in things like civillian space travel and electric cars... So which is better for the world?

"gave away" = SOLD

He put in MASSIVE amounts of work that frankly next to no one else would/could do. and nopw you want to punish him for it? that is patently insane. You want to promote MORE people wo do that kind of work

Not punish everyone who does

I really can....

And You need to understand that it's not yours. THe person with that money earned it

ANd you honestly believe any of those 50,000 people did anything without his mopney/investment/work? Or would have done any of it?

and least skilled

Want more from the world? offer more to the world

I don't care about your labels, they make no difference and only distract. You want to steal his money because he risked it and won

There is no upper limit

As the VAST majority of people who earn the amount of money you are talking about employ and re-invest so much of it that there is no honest comparison

The risk to Elon would be minimal. Remember he got fired and he can still live out the American dream.

apparently

And he EARNED it! what about that is so hard to understand?

He risked all he had and won

lol "ethics" of stealing his money

they didn't do anything worth more than their salary that they AGREED to when they took the job

And many companies offer proffit sharing to the employees....

those 50,000 workers got exactly what they agreed to and puit forth no additional risk evenm close to the 100M that Musk did

Set aside all labels. There is no excuse for "taking 20 BILL from Elon musk and redistrubing it to anyone" If his workers want more moneya nd they think they are worth it then they should renegotiate with their employers.... Otherwise they agreed to a fair wage

Well "educated" people likely, but not too many wealthy poeple wonder how to give away their money. they just donate to charities they like or found their own...

And they are freee to do whatever thye want with their money.... You however have no right to MAKE them

More specifically, why do they deserve more than they agreed to accept as pay for their work?

Who cares how many people. Why do they deserve MORE than they AGREED to accept??

Why do they deserve MORE than they AGREED to accept??

Who forced them to accept?

Who made them work for less?

Who held them as slaves to work

No one?

A Workers value is what both they and their employer agree to their value

Nothing stops an employee from asking for more money, and workers that are actually worth more will get it

And stealing money from people/companies will get us there?

He shoudl have valued himself more...

No one will value you more than you value yourself

I kinda do, you seem to be the one missing the point

What are you trying to teach?

I'm pretty open minded, But not to theft...

then how do you suggest that you mkae Musk give away 20 Bill?

Cause I doubt that is going to happen, unless he loses it on a new big thing that doesn't succeed like his last few

cut profit litterally means falure

remember that the overwhelming majority of Profit is reinvested

Profit is the money earned ABOVE the cost of doing business, including salaries of employees, this excess money is used to expand companies such as adding more products, more services, and updating infrastructure

and also more employees

If a company does that and you like it support that decision by buying their products/services.

If a company doesn't then do the opposite.

exactly

very true now-a-days

@RekItRalph What exactly are you trying to promote here? YOu have only made one solid statement that you thnk rich people don't deserve their money

Be more clear in your position if I'm not accurate

true, it is still stupid

^^

Nothing stops an employee from asking for more money if they are more successful either.

Hell I could be wrong about some tthings, but that whole topic came across as theft to me....

The far left has become "Agree or Die" basically

And they are going to eat each other alive by next election cycle

Heh, fair.

though I will say the FAR Right was simmilar

true

$20 it won't get any "real" press....

Well, politically you can never go wrong with money for childhood cancer

2019-02-06 03:02:23 UTC [Subverse #general]

Who in the world would vote against that.

2019-02-06 03:02:32 UTC [Subverse #general]

Yeah that was unexpected

2019-02-06 03:53:36 UTC [Subverse #general]

Illegals dont have voting rights

2019-02-06 03:53:48 UTC [Subverse #general]

2019-02-06 03:54:29 UTC [Subverse #general]

2019-02-06 03:55:58 UTC [Subverse #general]
