because boobs are great UwU
who else has this issue
Whenever a female streches you stare at their chest and you ussualy cant help it
Hey all. Good to be here. What's crackin?
Evening.
What brings you here
Hi. Came from r/mensrights. Been looking for alternative forums to talk about men's issues. Good to be here!
Oh nice.
There's plenty of channels as you can see
Yes! I'm hoping for some good convos! ๐
Something I've noticed in other spaces is being dragged into discussions about race and other 'intersections' in response to feminist muddying the water. I'm pretty single issue in this arena. If you have y chromosomes you are my brother. Even if you don't but can't live as a woman then you have my support...
Thats pretty straight forward.
The rest of the world supports the xx demographic. They don't need me.
@James Yes sorry, was asleep as you guessed.. Anything in particular that brings me here? Coming across the reddit and finally building up courage to put it simply.. more complex answer would mean telling my life story and family history probably would take forever
Haha yeah. That can happen.
A couple of personal experiences is- growing up not knowing my brother as my father had no rights- i saw what that did to him..also being a trans guy ive experienced what its like to be seen as female and male at different times- in many ways its easier to be female in terms of rights and attitudes (which was not a surprise to me- i knew it before transition really)
did you ever get to meet your father as an adult?
I grew up with my dad- my brother lost contact with him at age 11 or so before i was born, he was my dads stepson but from birth (didnt matter to family courts of course).. he always saw him as his son which he was just not biologically
oh, okay, I see, I'm sorry to hear that.
As an adult he contacted us- he ended up living with us for a while :)
that must have been nice, It's wrong to separate families, and I know even if you do manage to catch up as adults, it can still be quite upsetting for a parent not being able to see their child grow up
Yes it was difficult for him- he fought for a long time in the courts too
Family courts are just flat out unfair, they cause more harm then any good they do
This was England yeah?
Yes england
1980s
An enlightened time I'm sure. I wonder how it's changed
Gagging orders introduced?
That doesn't sound good
(parents involved in family courts now are often forbidden from speaking out in my understanding)
Speaking out on what part?
good luck with that, something that emotional and traumatic, speaking out is pretty inevitable
To children?
Or to public
Public
That's fucked
So any miscarriages of justice (which there are many) can be hidden
Uber fucked
people should be allowed to speak out if something is unfair, but that would probably lead to them getting public support and the family courts wouldn't want that complicating their systems
Exactly.. its used in a big way against autistic parents (autistic rights is something i keep up with) .. parents are tricked and lied to- trust social workers in the beginning, babies get taken in view for forced adoption because they are in high demand.. once the parents finally get help and organised and realise whats happened (eg unprofessional social workers, people lying, solicitors making deals with the local authorities) then they cant speak out due to the law and when they do its passed off a symptom of mental illness because they are lone voices
today my scienene teacher said "your in the most privlaged class, your a white male" (hes a white male to)
You should call him out as a sexist if he thinks he's better than women.
See how he can backpedal
she tweeted a pic of obama and a baby then this happened
to be fair looks like you where baiting a little bit xD
@TyDye Want to write up about it for the site? If you don't want me to bother you about that kind of thing let me know and I'll make a note.
I ask so many people that sometimes I forget who has said they don't want to be on the site, sorry.
Hey, just surfing discord servers, I'd just like to note that <#513359101082861568> seems to allow everyone to write in the channel
So it does, must have been accidental, thanks for the heads up
Oh, oops, thanks a lot @BroSkemp#0283
How about now?
Should be moderator only now
Good catch, Bro
Hello there RollingArt, how are you?
Good
What brings you to our fine discord server? :3
I want to support this movement
Great ^^ feel free to comment on anything in the numerous channels :3
Thx
Are there any specific angles, issues or controversies you are paying attention to particularly, @RollingArt23 ??
Hello

@Fred-104 Howdy, Deluxy!
Hey
So what's up?
Anything interesting going on?
Just saw this on the reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/a6gyz9/fight_for_the_stereotype_women_can_abuse_too/
Couple of us wondering what kind of abuse the OP got on Tumbler for that last comment.
Morally disgusting.
Hello
Hello @Bobby_Hill ! (Quick! Hide all the Commies!)
They will be swiftly smashed
*Shuffles commies into cupboard*
I love this place
hey, don't shove me in the cupboard again! D:<
:0
*Gets the net gun*
/flees
Ima gonna need me some experts on shoving people into cupboards here. Where are the Dursleys at?
;D
Hahaha child abuse is funny
does that make me a wizard?
Hey, great site!!
It really is
Glad to hear it. :D
@BR3AkEverything had better not! We've already had @Bobby_Hill crush all our commies! We're running out of unbroken furniture. XD
Hey, welcome to the server in any case, @BR3AkEverything
I mean, it's an obligation anywhere I go, and thank you kindly.<:BR3Aksalute:486259567639134238>
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day/evening so far.
Well I'm having one at least. :) How are you?
Just waking up (0830), but I am doing fantastic, considering.
Ah, yeah, mornings. I'm trying to quit em, but I keep relapsing.
Haha, I feel you there, but am happy I got at least 12 hours of sleep after working 70+ hours this week.
Eeehs.
My partner is in that kind of job
Happy funtimes!
๐
lol Gotta appreciate and love the downtime. <:BR3Aklul:480762815284772883>
Yeah, he's sleeping right now. I should probably be working, alos
That last word could be 'also' or 'alas' and it kinda works either way, lol
By the way, @everyone. I'm thinking of making this the greetings and casual chat forum and having <#515246258571575297> and <#515246196374372380> take over for the serious stuff. What do you all think?
Everyone has been using it like that anyway, I half tried to enforce it as not like the lounge but it didn't work
The lounge is just #pokemon now
yes, good idea
we need to set the right tone and standards
Hello @Shirvo Uusik !
@InsaneCaterpilla I haven't tried to enforce it personally. I don't think it's good to mess up the natural flow. Maybe it is best to make this #chat and have a #serious-business channel?
If you are new, it might not be great to just walk in and land right in a heavy debate or some such. Best to let everyone get to know people, and let them pick through the channels
Yea, I agree with that.
Cool.
I'll make this chat then.
How do people feel about renaming <#515246258571575297> to make it broader so it can take over? I was joking about calling it #serious-business but I kinda like the name
i think "serious business" sounds a lttle goofy
we need to be casual but still taken seriously
Yeah, maybe
Whereas they may have been few, I did enjoy the debates with @Abbysol, @asparkofpyrokravte, @James and others there
A fair point, but I was wondering if doing this might prompt more debates
Okay, maybe this can be chat and we'll just make another thread for Reddit posts and general men's rights talk? What do you think?
Sounds good to me mate
Cool. @everyone can suggest names if they like. New people, don't be shy!
what about Serious Stuff
how about just "serious"
I don't see why simply Men's Rights isn't appropriate.
I like it, but best to have one word.
Ah, it doesn't let you have spaces does it
Nup
Also, I'd like it to not be called 'men' anything because we already have one that starts that way.
I'm in favour of #serious and rename this place #chat
Any good?
^^^^^^^
also we need a rank system
that woould be cool
The ranks are determined by how high level your pokemon are
theres pokomon!!!!!!
They're in the lounge
i love pokomon
Type p!start in there are you can pick a starter
cheers
No worries
Iโm a little late but I also have a suggestion. Perhaps #discussion or #serious-discussion
Hey @Linguini I'll think about it tonight.
AHH, I HATE THE MALE SEX DRIVE
ITS SOOO DAMN HIGH
Lol
Dude you're 17
Poor kid. Definitely try taking up a sport haha
I had problems with my own sexuality at that age. I thought I was asexual for a long time. It was kinda wierd
I do sympathise, @TyDye . You've just gotta wait it out, I guess.
Running might help. Maybe camomile as you sound very stressed out.
Hey guys. I'm 15 and I'm from Canada. I've been following the Men's Rights movement for roughly 2 years since watching the Red Pill documentary.
hi @jimmyjohnsandwitch , and welcome!
there are MANY people like you
we are just starting to speak out about it
We should have Mee6 + levelling
How about #the-room-for-an-argument ? ;)
Hey @Jonathan , yeah, the Red Pill is a good doco, it helped raise a lot of awareness, I have a physical copy of it I like to lend around to people as it covers a whole range of the movement and what it is actually about instead of what feminists tell you it is about ๐
Hey guys im here cuz i have a question.
I don't understand why reddit meninists dislike MeToo so much
It's just bringing awareness to the frequency of sexual harassment, and trying to reduce it
so are manchildren just mad that they can't hit on girls?
you're not supposed to "hit on girls", relationships form organically from casual social interaction
no, we are 't dislike metoo, we dislike false accusations
you really have the wrong idea about the mens rights movement. and w dont call ourselves meninists
dont*
MeToo started off on the right foot and had a strong core in mind, however there is a loud minority that deny that men can be abused, the women who started MeToo even admitted that it had morphed into something that she didnโt want to associate anymore, false accusations are also becoming more common combined with the โbelieve all womenโ sentiment on top of the idea that a man cannot be abused by a women, you end up with a pretty nasty structure that actively excludes male survivors.
I think you will find that most of the men and women in here would support the old MeToo structure that was inclusive to both women and men, however the loud minority that has made itself known in the movement has left a sour taste in peopleโs mouthes, and often we use humour to help as a coping mechanism for things that upset us, especially those men who are survivors and the women here who suffered from female abuse, there is a sense that we are actively being silenced, that our experiences are less important that a women who is a survivor of male violence when they should be the same amount of relevancy
@DudeImTrippinBallsXD#1691 I would also like to point out that the term โmanchildโ is quite rude as it normalises the idea that if a man is to show emotion then he is not really a man, and the suppression of emotion can be quite destructive on the psyche, itโs okay to use in jest or as a joke, but it concerns me that you seem to be using it in a serious context, so I just want to ask for a little bit more compassion in that regard, but if there are other things you want to ask or points you want to argue you can feel free to ๐
it's good to bring attention to rape and all but trying to "stop rape" is impossible anyways
that's like trying to stop murder
there will always be sick people that will do these things
so instead of focusing on the fact that they do them
why not focus on what causes them to do it?
so you can y'know
minimize the problem
instead of going on a witchhunt
and maybe getting a couple actual rapists but burning 9 other innocent people per
>several minutes later i realize i said "racists" instead of rapists
ma jeg bede om dod?
/sigh... pretty sure that guy was just a troll, he seems to have left before anyone could argue our points, oh well
Also welcome @Maxwell_Richardson and yeah, it would be impossible to stop rape, there will always be the sick fucks out there who get a kick out of hurting other people, but I think a good focus for us is helping to get male survivors the help they need, getting them noticed and also drawing attention that even if they are a minority, women can be very sexually abusive too, and those people should face the exact same punishment
of course, but intentionally ***seeking out*** the punishment of rapists doesn't help anyone
something like 40-60% of rape accusations are false
Yes, actively going out on warlock hunt is naturally going to result in a confirmation bias where you are simply guilty by association
Hola, Rich. Welcome.
Hello guys! It might seem odd for a female to have men's right discussions but I really want to know more about this mens right thing. Many people equate this movement with modern day feminism, which I agree has gone a bit wild. Is it for real? I would love to have a discussion on it.
Hey there, that's ok, there are other women here, and some people (myself anyway) are anti-feminists
You're more than welcome to participate
Thanks a lot! So I am still in the process of getting a hold on discord, it's pretty new to me, seems good so far.
So what are you guys exactly trying to represent?
The MRM (men's rights movement) seeks to address ways boys are disadvantaged or discriminated against in society, for example male circumcision, custody and divorce laws, crime sentencing disparity, homelessness, boys in education etc. Anything that would constitute discrimination against men or boys would be something the MRM would talk about
That's lovely. I feel that men are under represented in this world. So, are there any rules or such sort of thing in here which I should keep in mind?
Not as such, just try and be nice and debate in a civilized manner. We would even allow feminists to come here as long as they debate civilly
Personally, I find myself in a position of a dilemma when it comes to placing my ideals, there are so many clashes which occur.
Any solutions for that?
No, healthy debate and scepticism inside yourself should always take place
I see. Personally, I feel scepticism varies with every individual. It is a subjective matter to begin with. But, I get the sense of what you are saying.
I got a confession to make btw. The review of MRAs, which I was getting all over the internet doesn't match a single bit to what I am seeing here. Why are MRAs considered negative, I can't seem to understand.
Blind belief can't be true belief, and in order to really understand something we must question it
Because to the privileged, equality feels like oppression. They see people talking about men's issues and assume that they want to take away women's rights when they talk about defending due process, or 50/50 custody.
Or, just as bad, that it takes away focus from women's issues
Ah that makes sense to me. I hope I am not bugging you with all those questions. I'm curious about this so there's that.
Nah, don't worry about it
I might stop replying soon though cause I have a few things to do, will only be half here
No problem, we all have our chores to take care of :)
Any questions for me though, I would like to answer some haha
Why do dogs have cold noses? :3
Fuck, never touched a dog's nose lol
Is this a meme of some sort btw?
Nah, was absurdity trying to be humour
