I have to assume most, if not all, are hoaxes. Yea, the windmill mentions are really frustrating. There's two other articles in my news feed related to the Illinois chapter's recent actions and, of course, mentions a windmill painted in an underground tunnel on the University of Illinois campus.

I couldn’t find the link quickly before leaving w the family for breakfast, but I’m almost positive that the one mentioned about the dorm room has articles proving it’s a fake. They don’t really sleep in a pile but they do sleep close to each other in the barn at night

They’re not really a utilitarian breed meaning that they are not considered a dairy breed because they do not produce a lot of milk, and they’re not really a meat goat either although they can be eaten for sure. Mine are all papered, pedigreed, microchipped , show quality goats. I travel along the western United States to shows. So to answer your question they are just pets LOL
