Hindsight being 2020, I'm glad we don't have a unified movement anymore, while the altright had a lot of well adjusted good natured people on board it had more than it's fair share of people who were not. I was actually embarrassed being altright for a while because of all cringy memes, bad ideas and terrible optics.

If Cville never happened then for the reasons above, the altright would have been driven into the ground, anyways.
