I’ve just been reading up on Edward VIII, kinda an interesting guy

Broke: Israel.
Woke: Israel, but for White people.

@Right Bauer 100% chance it's them shilling for donations

2019-02-23 22:13:05 UTC

If it was a real poll, they wouldn't just do it online like that for everyone to fill out with 7 proxies

2019-02-23 22:13:52 UTC

Though, now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if they *do* look at the answers given by people who give them money

2019-02-23 22:14:56 UTC

I always fill it out just in case

2019-02-23 22:16:33 UTC

Trump should do Twitter polls

2019-02-23 22:21:44 UTC

Do any of you zoomers know if there's some new phone game making people go outside? I saw a lot of groups walking around campus and the state capitol staring down at their phones.

2019-02-23 22:23:36 UTC

Not a zoomer, but that would be Pokémon Go

2019-02-23 22:24:36 UTC

@Mojave Paisan - NV either Pokemon go or that other game

2019-02-23 22:25:21 UTC

Ingress prime

2019-02-23 22:26:22 UTC

@sigruna14 Coffee is absolutely degenerate my man, the only way to go is your homeland's tea

2019-02-23 22:28:24 UTC

tea only belongs in the boston harbor

2019-02-23 22:28:38 UTC

I didn't realize people still play Pokemon Go.

2019-02-23 22:32:31 UTC

Yeah when I left it 3ish years ago there were adding all the new generations gradually so there’s still novelty

2019-02-23 22:40:50 UTC

Dude what's with all the coffee hate? Coffee was Arab, but Europeans took it and civilized it. It's fine in moderation like most everything else.

2019-02-23 22:40:57 UTC

Non habitual coffee use is ebic. Not a slave to craving, and get to actually experience it's full effects

2019-02-23 22:41:50 UTC

We "civilized" it? How do you civilise a bean drink?

2019-02-23 22:43:13 UTC

I'm admittedly still a teacuck, but it is ultimately an Asiatic scourge.

2019-02-23 22:43:59 UTC

Peak Chad = chicory

2019-02-23 22:44:22 UTC

Yerba Maté is best tea.

2019-02-23 22:44:49 UTC

This is how

2019-02-23 22:45:28 UTC

>the Pope's recommendation is an asset, rather than a liability 😏

2019-02-23 22:45:30 UTC

All I know about chicory is that in the shitty pulp postApoc stories ("sturries...") I used to read they drink chicory post-Crash because no international shipping

2019-02-23 22:47:08 UTC

Yeah. It used to be a class distinction in the States. Rich people drank coffee, while working class and poor people drank chicory, especially in rural areas. It was also used by the East Germans to stretch their limited coffee supplies during the Cold War.

>Being suspicious of the papacy in the 16th century when it was the most based & traditional force in the world 😏

2019-02-23 22:47:59 UTC

Weird that the world of fifty years after "Dies the Fire"is probably better than fifty years from now IRL will be. Stirling is a weird writer. He is simultaneously based but with boomer liberal tendencies. Quintessential purple pilled

2019-02-23 22:48:26 UTC

>posting about muh papacy in the 21st century when it's the most divisive topic on this server <:4dchess:439923932062154782>

2019-02-23 22:48:30 UTC

I'll accept the blame for the anti-Papal quip, but we should probably leave it be 😉

2019-02-23 22:49:15 UTC

(Full disclosure: I grew up a devout Roman Catholic.)

2019-02-23 22:58:31 UTC

Yes, please do. The religion thing can be pretty divisive.

2019-02-23 22:59:34 UTC

Although I believe this conversation was originally about coffee, which apparently can be a polarizing subject as well haha

2019-02-23 22:59:50 UTC

It’s funny to watch how the conversation develops in here.
