Cost = literal cost of lawyers to make a watertight prenup

In CA given limits of prenup law you have to have networth of > 100k for it to be worth it

it depends on your state, and they can't offer total protection

Pre nuptials can be made stronger if you agree to it long before the wedding and make the woman get her own legal counseling about it, or at least tell her she can consult an independent attorney if she wants. Stronger in some jurisdictions should be interpreted as simply less weak though since we live under a dictatorship.

James Allsup recently made a video talking about it, and he mentioned how it represents rural America in general, which I had never heard before. I always sort of felt that way, which is why I've always rather liked it, but that was just my personal preference
