I don't get how caring about being outnumbered while demonized and burdened (recipe for oppression or extermination) is limiting, or what the alternative is

I think we're creating kind of a dichotomy here where there doesn't need to be one. We *could* do okay for ourselves as a minority, but we should have a better ideal to strive for rather than saying it's inevitable and we should just pack it all up right now.
