not nearly as bad as I thought it would be
Indeed, but he supported everything he said up until the rifles comment, and it's reasonable to suspect he actually supports it but just can't have it on the show explicitly.
Reasonable yes, I just wanted to make the point that Cantwell's guest and not him said it and that Cantwell immediately cut him off and shut him down.
Definitely
Crying in front of media is the ultimate optics cucking. Im not a big E- Celeb person but isnt cantwell the guy who pulled out countless amounts of guns in a hotel room on camera?
he was flexing for that Vice chick yeah
Yes @wayne peek
Cantwell should of declined the VICE interview and directed her towards more moderate leaders like Damigo or Spencer
he should of saw the trap a mile away, he hurt our image where we had the opportunity to have a polished documentary done by a good leader
Yeah, but that's who Cantwell is. If you were Elle Reeve (pbuh), who would you target for a documentary? Who would be willing and eager to do dumb stuff on camera?
IE exists for a reason.
I'll never understand the cantwell love out there, especially after the way he embarrassed himself around with vice thing and all the rest. I don't know why people want someone so obviously unstable being a figurehead or public figure
And he gives those irony twitter dorks so much ammo
He falls exactly into the caricature that our enemies paint of us.
Cheap entertainment @martin
He's a radio personality, not a leader
Elle Reeve and friends have been emailing us recently, trying to include IE in their next hatchet job. Not going to happen.
Nice. Did they give any details?
It was just another VICE piece on the Alt-Right.
It would be interesting if there was video footage from that charlotesville documentary done by our guys, filmed parallel to the VICE crew
I don't think so. No one summoned the agency to be a journalist and a protester simultaneously
Cantwell is Irish. That it explains it all to me.
"David Frank" got some good footage iirc
@Reinhard Wolff Aye. I daresay *not* doing an interview with vice shows a kind of self-control they're not accustomed to.
Indeed.
MTV wanted to include us on a documentary they were doing on the Alt-Right. I told them no as well.
I'm not interested in being included alongside the NSM in their sensationalist documentaries.
I always tell them that they can let me know if they want to give us exclusive coverage. Might consider it in that case.
trying to bag us up and throw us away
This wasn't perfect, but it wasn't a hatchet job.
The opening scene in that actually made it appealing imo. The forest, the music, walk down the road. After they moved on from ie (after nathan's scene i think) I stopped watching.
Yeah, I remember when it came out people surprised at how nicely we were portrayed.
Yeah there was a really nice line they left in there about "A nation is a people who share a common heritage or purpose. I'm not even sure we are a nation anymore." And a line about how civilizations in this stage fracture and become something else. Sounded pretty reasonable and insightful
But yeah, vice will not do that. We'll be right there next to "Hate thy Neighbor"
@Reinhard Wolff More likely than not, I believe your decision was the right one.
However, I do think that leftist media interviews can turn out well for us. Reasonable people might see them and think, "wait, these guys are nothing like Nazis". Nathan's TYT interview was good, for example.
Though, I understand that they can chop up the interview. I got interviewed for a Seattle newspaper once, and it's like that just picked my most extreme sentence fragments and hyped them up.
Yeah. MSM interviews can be positive, so I'm not against them entirely.
Those that are still tuning in to the msm as the word of god are a lost cause.
an exclusive IE vice show could be *massively* beneficial for us
