Apparently he was convicted of felony assault and plead guilty to strangling his gf (not to death tho).
Still, interesting to see what the cause of death is
Still love those comments
"Is having a convicted abuser not theat enough?"
A domestic abuser? No. Unless everyone on campus is their lover but at that point we have bigger problems probably
It's scary that people are actually celebrating this.
If you create a weapon, expect it to be used on you at some point in the future. These people would do well to remember that. They should learn from history.
They are trying to make the new guillotine but seem to have forgotten what happened to it's inventor and the man who championed it's use in France.
"That can never happen here."
"But we're the good guys. We're not like *those* people."
"We are on the right side of history."
Whelp

Need that spongebob meme.
"This game is fine for me to own"
"Yep"
"And it's okay to take screenshots of games I own"
"Uh-huh"
"So is should be able to screenshot this game"
"I see nothing wrong with that"

welcome to 5 year old... i mean modern reasoning skills,
They can think of solutions, but they never realise how those solutions will work out on themselves
Make sure those gamers among us don't miss @shnarkattack post on the Subverse channel. She discusses the politicization of Far Cry 5 in games media. It's a rather well done piece. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U27GfnpMTdM
lol
Finish the fucking story
I watched that yesterday. Not really a gamer here, but it resonated, because the same goes for certain movie reviews. People have to be able to get out of their heads sometimes, and it's frustrating to see various forms of recreation judged by whether or not they provide a particular commentary on the state of the world.
I mean, first off that game was in development for 6 years, and they wanted relevant political commentary from the last few years of development? And of course they want it to be on their side. It's narcissistic political game reviewing that requires the subject medium to validate their own unrelated perspectives.
Let games be games. Overpoliticization is part of the problem.
Yeah, it feels like everything is being critiqued to death. Maybe we should steer clear of reviews for a while. 😄
I prefer reviewing the reviewers. Momes should make that a regular thing.
I'd tune in, for sure. She could discuss movies, too.
Curious, anyone here played Far Cry 5?
I had alot of fun with it.
Though I did the opposite. I made sure that the peggies called for reinforcements, every outpost.
Though It felt wierd that the LMG handled like a SMG, with an insane magazine size.

Apparently it's discrimination for a retail store to not want to hire a convicted theif.
I mean, I'm all for giving people a second chance to earn a living, but come on.
so what they are saying is that african-americans and latinos are all criminals... 😒
Next a convicted pedophile should be allowed to work alone with children.
how exactly does a policy of "we don't hire convicted criminals" target african americans and latinos?
I mean, isn't it more racist of the person making that statement as they are the ones voicing the assumption that convicted criminals are going to be mostly black and Hispanic?
It very clearly is, but then again, the people 'defending' blacks and hispanics are the actual racists in power nowadays.
you would need to be able to make logical connections from a to b to come to that conclusion
Gotta love how the "progressive" seem to think that the bar for societal standards needs to be lowered in order for minorities to meet them. It's almost like they believe people who belong to these minority groups are not able to meet these evidently high standards. This seems rather racist.
the premise is inherently racist, yes.
