Yes now for instance, I live in the northern most point of Limburg and I go to school in Nijmegen. So not a resident of North or South Holland.
Just... We the Dutch are weird in every way
Maybe because it is... It's a mismatch between English, German and French
Fun fact: the oldest Dutch writing is also the oldest German writing
Where are you from @EDGE?
Ah yeah. Do you get any other languages at school?
Ah okay
In the Netherlands we have more of a mindset that we're traders, so we've got to learn as many languages as possible
True
That first part at least
Well, that side certainly shows itself once in a while if I am to believe the news about Brexit
That is my understanding too
For a referendum that wasn't legally binding we've come a long way
Nope, you can't own them anymore these days
That's awesome @renealc muucav, I'm really looking forward to the launch!
And by *reusing* the rockets you're saving some money @California Nightmare 2.0
Okay, do you understand our conception of a LEO?
Low Earth Orbit
According to your logic, yes, though I disagree. The fact that the trace seems to be going down, is because LEO is essentially a circle. It'll seem to go down. The fact that the trace stops is because the engine is shut down
Anyway if this were the case, why would they have the engine lit during that stage of "going down"?
Why? Because it's in orbit. A circle around the earth. If the earth goes down, it has to follow that curve in order to stay in a circle. Because the spacecraft high up, it means you're able to see the curve from below. Resulting in the illusion that the spacecraft is going down
Well, anyone believing in any other faith will say the exact same thing
But with another God or prophet
That ^^
Yeah because threatening someone based on a difference in a subject is the correct thing to do in any situation
Alright then I hereby place my threat!
Yeah and now because you are so intimidated by my totally realistic and accurate threat you have no other option than to fully agree with my opinion!
Sure
I see, one measures the accuracy of a threat by the effect it has on the recipient. If it has more effect one can say that the threat was accurate as in it has touched on a subject the recipient is emotional about
Time will show, sir
Good day, sir Meow
They think it's the lens, sir
Oh and forgive me, @๐Sir Meow Sam๐, but "Orbit Limit" isn't a thing. Kรกrmรกn Line is
But I am still waiting on footage from Flat Earthers who launched a weather balloon of themselves. Knowing the lens does not create the curvature
To disprove our model
They are, but there's a lot of flat earthers, so they could certainly bring it together. And weather balloons are launched frequently, not only for scientific purposes but for academic purposes as well
They are expensive, but not compared to alternatives
Expensive part will be electronics and recovery
Surprisingly cheap actually
Now that I look at it
Though regulations of course. There's air traffic to take into account.
@Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids I don't, I'm suggesting to use a lens of which you know will not create artificial curvature
So if it shows curvature, you know it's not from the lens
You claim the earth is flat
Okay, then you say the earth is flat until proven otherwise?
Ah but I say the burden of proof is on you since the globe earth model is the current theory
Then we must resolve to make realistic and accurate threats again
Well yes, but not quite a sphere
Because they say it has an ice wall
I suggest using a weather balloon to figure out whether or not there is a curve. That is not an argument for or against
Ah yes that argument okay
Then we should go to debate channel
Okay, @Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids do you agree that the curren accepted scientific model is the one with the globe-ish earth?
Nope, next month
Okay, when does one have the burden of proof according to you @Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids? As in not specifically to the FE
Okay, but you keep saying our photos are fakes
May I ask why you speak in generated PNGs โ of the time @Seeker of Truth?
I don't think that's needed but you be you
Now with that last one I can agree-ish with
Except first line, but that is just my atheism kicking in
To believe in what?
And "them" in this context is? The government of a country? The country? The education system of the country?
So we gotta overthrow the establishment, where is it based? Who's in it exactly?
Overthrow ourselves @Da3m0n2? How? By doing a front flip?
Ah okay, well I wasn't planning on rioting anyway
But the Ted Gunderson story is interesting, are there multiple sources that support his claims?
Fluoride is good for your teeth at least
Or so I've been told
And that's *one* scientist
Must we kill all Germans because of Hitler? No of course not
Why say we have the technology at all?
For those who know a bit more about chemistry than I do, is that even possible? >Daily question
Abiogenisis != origins of humans
Now that's something I can agree with
pssst @Mee6 an announcement of the same very thing every hour is maybe a bit much...
@Matt77 true, but within limits.
yes, like once every 12h is moooore than enough
Hey man, if you do use the mortality rate of certain diseases to make your argument, please take a look at the infection rate too.
>>> Gravity is so powerful that a man's 2 arms can defeat it! Remember gravity has never been proven and is completely fake. Buoyancy and density are the correct scientific model.
What defines the direction of that force?
All forces, as far as I'm aware have a direction. If you pushed something it'll go in a certain direction (assuming you were to overcome friction)
I got the quote from <#617072635137884160>
Never been there tbh
Doesn't give an answer to that question.
That is quite an accurate summery of the American language
why do you, most of the time, use r-t-rd units?
Well the energy has to come from somewhere...
Wait wait wait, computers are insecure because of intel chips?
@Vitmar but it is a major contributor? You do know AMD makes chips too?
Well yes
No computer will ever be 100% safe, but claiming it's because of Intel would be interesting to say the least
Computer drivers?
But would it then make much of a difference if you use AMD or Intel in security?
@California Nightmare 3.0 it's cheaper for higher performance, but I don't like the drivers and support personally
Linux is a group of operating systems, intel and amd are chip manufacturers
Yes, correct
But there's still an Intel/AMD/mobile CPU in there
So trust him on his word, I guess
