In Oklahoma, the Supreme Court has already decided the case. The Indian Nations are still sovereign and not part of the United States.
seceding won't have much of an impact here
Simple guy here too. Lives off the land, hunts, fishes, farms, raises livestock...
family of 3, don't have much, but we're happy
Out here far from "civilization" we have a system already set up in case SHTF. People within about a 10 sqare mile area.
Right now, we have about 16 months of food, among other supplies. Clear water, year round creek bordering the acreage. Lots of timber, etc.
Various neighbors, the same.
The "old ways" doesn't bother me. I actually prefer them. LOL
A few years back, the family and I spent 14 months living 20 miles off pavement in the foothills of the Oauchita Mts. No power, no cell and no water. Well, water was provided by a spring-fed creek. We did really well without any problems.
This was built, literally overnight, when it got a bit cold and began snowing. I ended up breaking 2 ribs building it but persisted. Was built with persimmon poles set into 3 ft holes and bound together using jute twine.

Wife and daughter slept while I worked through the night.
Location is the Ouachita Mts, Eastern Oklahoma

Thanksgiving out there, we made a whole wild turkey and baked pumpkin pies on a smoker grill.
It was about 15 ft high, 30 ft long ans 24 ft wide
two partitions, one for living (with roof) and one for cooking, supplies, etc (open to the sky)
persimmon is great for building as the trunks are pretty straight and the wood is very dense.
Persimmon has one of the highest BTU ratings for wood too. great for heating
Our acreage is partially wooded (about 3 of the 5.7 acres). Many varieties such as walnut, oak, pecan, douglas fir, pine, etc.
Lots of whitetail deer, wild turkey, pigs, geese. Small pond on the property too.
... and those dang coyote...
gotta chase them off once in a while by firing a few rounds at them.
There have been reports of a mountain lion about a mile south of here but I haven't seen any yet.
But, a mile south, the neighbors have chickens and goats so...
Across the dirt road are plenty of cattle so if bad becomes worse and everything shuts down, I know where my steaks are coming from.
Well, there is the "Great Reset" where it is said they need to collapse the entire world's economies in order to establish it. At any rate, I'd rather be prepared for any contigency than to be caught unprepared. We have lived it, and not just knowlegde on how to survive. Experience is the best teacher. Also, we have tornadoes in this neck of the woods and storms can cause outages for days or weeks.
The last tornado near here was May 22, 2019:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YAYuHdk4lw
Whether it happens or not, I really don't see it affecting us.
In the video above, we no longer have the PT Cruiser, but sold it. We have a 4 wheel drive Trailblazer now. The trailer you see on the right is where our massive food storage, 4kW generator, gasoline, water filters, crossbow with bolts & broadheads, solar charging system backup, extra clothing and bedding, and many other supplies are stored.
yeah, it was there but was at the beginning of its formation. it wasn't a coherent funnel until it moved closer to Okemah, OK
here is another view of the same tornado
As long as it's daylight out and there is a tornado, I'll go outside and video it. I wish I would have walked the 300 ft to the front gate to get a better view of it.
Here is another view of the same tornado
Alright, ttyl - - sleep well
I got lazy...
And the odd thing is... potatoes wasn't known until brought over from the America's.

gonna be a long day for me tomorrow. have to drive about 2 hrs into Tulsa for a doc appt ๐ฆ
My view of the Constitution is that the meaning of its parts do *not* change over time as many argue but is as it was intended and meant at the time it was founded.
The Federal gov't has already over-stepped its Constitutional bounds. If a power is not authorized to the Federal gov't within the Constitution, then it is something that falls to the States. For example, nowhere in the Constitution does it authorize the Federal gov't to control schools, i.e., the Dept of Education. This is an usurpation of undelegated power.
@Whithers The way I understand the Constitution, as well as many others, is that it imposes limitations upon the Federal gov't. Rights do not emanate from the gov't nor from the Constitution; they are inherited from one's Creator and, as such, what one's Creator giveth, no man may taketh. The Constitution itself specifically states within it that powers not enumerated within it are reserved to the States. I'm not really clear what you mean by, "specifically to ensure all rights remain negative and no positive rights are attributed." Can you elaborate?
@Whithers At any rate, there *is* a fourth "branch" of gov't, or fourth power, that is jury nullification, which is quite powerful. It is what led to the 21st amendment which nullified the 18th.
@Whithers Thanks for the clarification. There are many things that the gov't does overstep when it comes to various licensing. A licence/permit, according to Black's Law Dictionary, in simplest terms, is gov't permission to do some act that is overwise illegal or unpermitted. Using this as an argument, that would make something as simple as marriage unlawful unless permitted by the gov't. I see this as overstepping boundaries.
With the above example of marriage, that would make the State a party in the marriage contract. With the State being a party, it allows them to have a say in one's marriage.
No, the State will not recognize the marriage as being legal, as far as I know.
@Zuluzeit just be glad your avatar isn't Rasputin, overwise some may mistake you for Jack Dorsey.
If the gov't can issue permits/licensing to allow one to "legally" exercise Constitutionally protected Rights for one (2nd Amendment) what will stop them from issuing permits/licensing for any of the other Constitutionally protected Rights. There is nothing that will stop them...
Marriage originated in Genesis and is a religious union between two parties. State licensed marriages are a contract between two people and the government, composed of three parties.
Having the government as a party in the marriage gives the gov't authority in the marriage and all that derives from it, including any offspring. This is what gives them the authority to take children from parents and raise them as they see fit.
Q. *What is an elephant?* A. A mouse, designed by commitee and built to gov't specifications.
Many people do not realize that the Swedish model is the nation is, economically, capitalist and distribution is socialist. They tend to leave out the economic part of the "equation"
Speaking of covid, earlier today I found that the overall death rate in the USA for 2020 (so far) has either not changed or has gone down in comparison to 2019, 2018, etc. This is from the CDC, who has since, removed the stats from its website. One would expect a drastic uptick in deaths from all causes if covid was such a significant cause of death as is being pushed. Makes one wonder what the truth behind the "pandemic" really is.
Hmmm... a thought... ever wonder why there is a fasces on the reverse of the Roosevelt dime?
@RobertGrulerEsq Regarding the superchat I posted on your live stream, when unequivocal evidence that the election in Georgia was conducted in violation of the U.S. Constitution, Federal and State Law, how can the election be legally certified? In a legal perspective, allowing the election to stand when it was Unconstitutional and unlawful, it would set a precendent that the Law no longer applies to Georgia elections. Other States would then follow suit if they see that no one is held accountable for noncompliance with the Law. Just my thoughts.
If Trump concedes, the only thing that appears to be available is impeachment.
Like I said in general-chat, "when unequivocal evidence that the election in Georgia was conducted in violation of the U.S. Constitution, Federal and State Law, how can the election be legally certified? In a legal perspective, allowing the election to stand when it was Unconstitutional and unlawful, it would set a precendent that the Law no longer applies to Georgia elections. Other States would then follow suit if they see that no one is held accountable for noncompliance with the Law."
The way I see it, it is like a contract. If the contract is in violation of the law, it is invalid. The same, legally, applies to elections, if the Law is followed. If an election is in violation of the Law, it is invalid.
Even if there was zero fraud in an election, if the election was conducted in violation of the law, it is invalid. That is an angle I would argue when there is concrete evidence showing the election laws were not followed.
To allow an election to be certified when the election was clearly conducted in violation of the law, it will set a horendous precedent that complying with the law is irrelevent. Ones vote will become worthless and without meaning from that point on.
So... no one have any thoughts about what I stated about Georgia not following the law in the election and thereby invalidating their election? Whether or not any fraud existed becomes moot when the election was conducted illegally.
@JD~Jordan Many violations was shown during the Georgia Senate hearing today including how the Governor "changed" the state election law when only the Legislation has the authority. Other examples was the suitcase video.
It has been confirmed and not denied that the Georgia State Law was not followed in the election.
The U.S. Constitution gives the sole authority to the State Legislator to make the rules for the Federal election. It doesn't matter that the Compromise Order was issued by the governor, he does not have the constitutional authority. The governor cannot make any alteration to the Law, no matter how minor. Just as judges cannot alter the law. That is a violation of the separation of powers.
@JD~Jordan you must not have watched the Georgia Senate hearings today.
This is also in violation of Georgia Law

reviewing the hearing now for the part...
It doesn't matter who the "suitcase" ballots were for, the act seen in the security video is in violation of Georgia law.
Video is set at the current timestamp (3:58:45)
The "Agreement" was made contrary to the U.S. Constitution Article I, Section 2
What is sad is many think it's all about Trump vs. Biden when it's not. It's about preserving the integrity of the election.
Communism has killed ~100 million people since 1900. Cultism hasn't even reached anywhere close to 1/1000th of that.
Nazism was not a cult but a political party, the National Socialist Workers Party.
Then you can go as far as Biden supporters are a cult.
@james j with your definition, fans of anime, fans of a movie star, etc are "cults"
Did you miss the thousands "dancing" in the streets when the AP declared Biden the winner of the election?
That is something Biden has openly stated
Let me get this straight. People supporting Trump is a cult. People supporting Biden is *not* a cult.
yes, he has been recorded on video stating this.
So, if a mass murderer was running against Trump, people would vote for him?
The MSM has their own little "cult" around Biden, as well as Big Tech.
where is it for Trump?
Donald Trump was popular and not hated until he announced he was running for the presidency. After beating Hillary, the hatred got much worse and has only gotten worse.
Mainstream media and Big Tech
@james j why are the Left always so full of hatred?
For what it's worth, I am neither registered a Democrat nor a Republican.
Conservatives didn't burn down cities, loot and murder Trump supporters because of their political views. The left did that.
I don't have "love" for Trump. But I do approve of all the good things he has accomplished while in office.
And that justifies over a billion dollars in damages and losses, people killed and cities taken over?
@james j here is your "cult"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHs6Z_U5E0Q
I don't remember any Trump supporters rioting when Biden was declared the winner by the AP like Hillary supporters did in 2016.
Cities were burning because of the Left back in 2016 when Hillary lost. It is a typical response of the Left when they don't get their way; they throw tantrums.
@james j you mean like Barack Obama and his cult following?
