To start with, we've apparently already got a network right here. People from different walks, regions, and I count at least 7 different languages among us. (Including Mandarin, which is the most common language in the world)

We'd be able to translate, and offer cultural and even regional insight to one another.

As someone who's building an independent media company, having something like that as a backbone would be wonderful.

I basically decided I could give 20 bucks (2 and some odd hours) because I get more than that time's worth out of his content while I'm actually AT work. I usually have a delivery around 3:00pm ish, and just throw his video on while I'm driving around for my job.

If $30 is a full day's work, that might not be the best tier to commit to.

CNN reports something, all other media report the same, using CNN as their reference, and CNN then reports that their initial report is true because all other media report the same (AKA, report their own story)

If they all do that with each other, all you need is one to print out a malicious lie, and the rest follows out of ignorance/ez mode and suddenly you have a malicious lie spreading

and with the media being full of same-thinkers, they will easily believe what they believe is true, and report on it, and intentionally not mention anything disagreeing with them

and ofc its for money, "Telling people what they want to hear" so they stick around, and you can sell stuff to them
