The individual is a mechanism of the state. Completely ignoring that aspect of our identity is unhealthy.

The goal of fascism is whatever the State wants. The State is *everything* in fascism. Which is why it is so easy for the one in power to abuse it because they become the State and hence absolutely powerful.

In a free society, the state exists as a function of public need, not the other way around

As Xi "becomes" China, China completes their mutation from a possibly nascent Communist state to pure fascism.
