Any libertarian worth their salt would say they should be allowed to work under those conditions.
I have no issue with minimums because our pay to get qualified workers is above even our high state minimum.
My staff are all licensed medical professionals many of whom make around $70/hr. OT makes that over $100/hr. You can see why I have to be very cognizant of OT but also why they would be willing to work a few extra hours straight time...but can't due to labor laws.

That is intriguing. I would love to se a plot of Salaries, both mean and average plotted for the US from the 1900 and to today with a clear indication of minimum wage plotted in as well. And for comparison I would like to see the same for a country without labor legislation. E.g. Denmark or Norway.
