Aye. I didn't want to say anything at first because I didn't know exatly where she was at, but brain damage isn't always as bad as it sounds. It just takes a lot of time. Our brains get damaged all of the time, and the brain is constantly forming new pathways to circumvent damaged bits and reorganizing itself. When a bunch happens at once, it can be a big struggle, but overall, the brain has built in mechanisms to handle that sort of thing.

She's severely diabetic, she didn't take her insulin(we think) because her blood sugar level was skyrocketed
