Any good sources for yoga devoid of thottery?

2018-11-11 03:12:40 UTC

@Roundabout Lout there's some YouTube tutorials

2018-11-11 03:12:45 UTC
2018-11-11 03:12:51 UTC

yeah,i used to follow a progeam by some guy called jason blaha - used to only use a 5x5 set - rep scheme

2018-11-11 03:12:58 UTC

But I forgot the links

2018-11-11 03:13:12 UTC

maanged to reach a 90 for 3 pause bench but got injured through sport and here i am

2018-11-11 03:13:19 UTC

@Daribig blaha is cool. I like Chris Jones (Pumpchasers).

2018-11-11 03:13:52 UTC

I say just stick to 5 sets of 5 clean reps, once or twice a week, for 3-6 months.

2018-11-11 03:14:08 UTC

the only thing with chris is that he advocates for split routines, whereas blaha says that performing a full body workout 2-3 times a week is sufficient

2018-11-11 03:14:14 UTC

Make sure you’re getting enough calories, protein, carbs and fats.

2018-11-11 03:14:15 UTC

Anyone here who likes calisthenics need to check out RedDeltaProject

2018-11-11 03:14:22 UTC

@MufflePuff yeah, thank you

2018-11-11 03:15:00 UTC

All depends on what works for you. @Daribig

2018-11-11 03:15:17 UTC

I love the split regimen.

2018-11-11 03:15:23 UTC

@Deleted User I suppose thats really close to yoga

2018-11-11 03:15:29 UTC

Hey guys i thought i could stream tonight but my setup is cancer. I bought a new data plan/phone along with a snowball mic and im going to try a stream at work tomorrow because im by myself the whole shift

2018-11-11 03:15:56 UTC

Sucks man @Happy Humble Hermit all good though.

2018-11-11 03:16:11 UTC

@MufflePuff what kind of split do you run?

2018-11-11 03:16:31 UTC
2018-11-11 03:16:35 UTC

I know I've been dropping the ball on original content uploads but my semester is close to ending and then i can go hard

2018-11-11 03:16:49 UTC

@Happy Humble Hermit streaming at work? Its that safe for you?

2018-11-11 03:16:54 UTC

@Happy Humble Hermit Your one art of peace video wasen't too long ago, I really appreciate that one

2018-11-11 03:17:00 UTC

@Aristorien i feel like calisthenics is harder

2018-11-11 03:17:33 UTC

@Deleted User I can get as far as downward facing dog but I agree, I really would like to get a comprehensive understanding of yoga

2018-11-11 03:17:38 UTC

maybe I can find some hindu texts

2018-11-11 03:17:41 UTC

or something

2018-11-11 03:17:44 UTC

@Deleted User depends on ur bodyweight

2018-11-11 03:17:53 UTC

great to start with if you're a leaner guy

2018-11-11 03:18:01 UTC

@Daribig Currently MON: Hamstrings, TUE: Chest/Arms, WED: Shoulders, THU: Back, FRI: Quads. Cardio Tue, Wed, Thu.

2018-11-11 03:18:05 UTC

Agreed with Julius, ever since the Art of Peace presentation, I've been exercising and meditating on stoic philosophy. I've a long way to go, but feel way better than I have in a while

2018-11-11 03:18:09 UTC

Yeah but even fat people can eventually master it. Can speak from experience

2018-11-11 03:18:34 UTC

Time and patience is key

2018-11-11 03:18:52 UTC

@MufflePuff cool - do you own a home gym? i'd change to a split if i had a home gym

2018-11-11 03:19:55 UTC

working out at my local gym ruins my mood if i go at the wrong time - bunch of school kids come and hog the racks while having a dick measuring contest on the bench

2018-11-11 03:20:02 UTC

@Daribig naw, I first started at home and it was lackluster. Started hitting the gym in 2012 and my progress exploded. $9.99 for everything you need.

2018-11-11 03:20:12 UTC

boncing the bar of their pigeon chests

2018-11-11 03:20:30 UTC

@MufflePuff 9.99? is that chris' program?

2018-11-11 03:20:33 UTC

@Daribig If you can manage it, get a 24-hour gym and go when no one else is there. I go at 5am.

2018-11-11 03:20:47 UTC

@Daribig naw that’s Gold’s Gym.

2018-11-11 03:20:55 UTC

They have everything.

2018-11-11 03:21:51 UTC

got ya, gym is extremely therapeutic is you go at the right time and listen to the right music with noise cancelling headphones
