@MountainMan While I do endurance rather than strength, iirc high load and low reps tend to be good if you want to induce muscular hypertrophy.

@intothekwaliso I think intentional failure is more critical although personally I do high rep for hypertrophy. Admittedly this is pure vanity and only on arm day as mostly I concentrate on strength.

He also seems to be talking about focusing groups. Like I said I'm not concentrating on bulk across the board. Basically I was born with a large chest so I do some hypertrophy on arms to make them look less asymmetrical. So I do a 5x12 but I go to intentional failure last set on skullcrushers and bell curls.
On those 2 only mostly I do strength.
