@Eccles infected Mushroom is great, this is probably my favourite song (after cum zone and cum throne but they don’t count because they’re meme edits) https://youtu.be/ahmzAj3k2KQ

2019-12-22 16:27:33 UTC

Someone should try to infiltrate this by saying they're racist if they don't admit them without ID

2019-12-22 16:27:59 UTC

Anyone live near Bolton?

2019-12-22 16:36:14 UTC

it's alright twitter will just purge #StormzyIsAMassiveBellend once it starts trending

2019-12-22 17:11:13 UTC

Honestly I don't see an issue with voter ID in the UK <:shrug:349342983763656705>

2019-12-22 17:11:34 UTC

You get a ballot anyway and most peeps carry their drivers license with them everywhere

2019-12-22 17:12:14 UTC

I actually assumed I needed ID with me when I voted Leave. It shocked me that nobody asked for it.

2019-12-22 17:12:32 UTC

But muh millennials who just use uber and have never learned to drive?

2019-12-22 17:14:09 UTC

If you cant drive you probably aren't old enough or experienced enough to vote <:PepeLaugh:565528391336329216>

2019-12-22 17:32:17 UTC

Lol katie hopkins

2019-12-22 17:32:20 UTC

she's a mong as well

2019-12-22 17:38:01 UTC

@Storin arguments against it are that ID's would require some less privileged people to figure a way to get, ie public transport, to the offices you get the ID from. Not sure if the UK is the same way though

2019-12-22 17:39:04 UTC

NAh thats bullshit. If you aren't politically active enough to go and get photographic ID or a new Voter card perhaps you should not be voting to begin with <:shrug:349342983763656705>

2019-12-22 17:39:26 UTC

And the excuse that those less privileged lose out is bullshit unless blacks in America cant drive or cant get this card etc

2019-12-22 17:40:14 UTC

Because that is exactly who they are talking about when they say no voter ID- minorities who are "pathetic and need help"

2019-12-22 17:40:47 UTC

I know its bullshit lol

2019-12-22 17:41:09 UTC

I believe voter ID should be required to vote

2019-12-22 17:41:47 UTC

If you were serious enough about being politically active you'd find a way to get said ID

2019-12-22 17:42:29 UTC

In any case the real reason it's not enforced federally is because parties want them foreigner votes

2019-12-22 17:43:01 UTC

To artificially boost their support, because typically immigrants don't know better

2019-12-22 17:46:56 UTC

Katie Hopkins is at least amusing. Owen Jones, by contrast, is just a wanker

2019-12-22 18:02:21 UTC

@Storin alternatively some can't drive due to not being able to afford it or just prefer not to drive

2019-12-22 18:02:40 UTC

Then they are not adults <:shrug:349342983763656705>

2019-12-22 18:02:47 UTC

i think it was determined a while ago that jones is a 'wankpuffin'

2019-12-22 18:03:25 UTC

In nearly every job it is at least an entry requirement to drive or be able to get to your place of employment

2019-12-22 18:03:33 UTC

That's not how things work
People went for millennia without driving and they were adults then.

I prefer to get the bus for example as it allows me to do other things on my way

2019-12-22 18:03:42 UTC

Even if you don't drive not having a license is hamstringing yourself

2019-12-22 18:04:40 UTC

That may be true but doesn't make them any less of an adult for not wanting to drive

2019-12-22 18:04:47 UTC

its fair to not expect people to have a driving license or passport, but there are things called buses, taxis etc

2019-12-22 18:05:22 UTC

That's what I just said, I get the bus instead of driving as I prefer it

2019-12-22 18:05:45 UTC

so they can go to the council orifice to receive their ID, if they cant then they dont care much about voting - how can you even postal vote if you wont go as far as a postbox

2019-12-22 18:06:22 UTC

Exactly

2019-12-22 18:06:39 UTC

Absolutely but that wasn't my point
My point was just because someone can't or doesn't want to drive doesn't make them not an adult

2019-12-22 18:07:07 UTC

That is how a voter ID has always been proposed- as a stop gap measure for those without photographic ID (ie drivers license, passport, govt ID) like if you don't have even one of those you must be sheltered <:shrug:349342983763656705>

2019-12-22 18:07:09 UTC

labour just hate it because it'll put a dampener on the shady collection of postal votes in 'certain areas'

2019-12-22 18:08:00 UTC

Ballot paper combined with voter ID= very little voter fraud (on the end of voting)

2019-12-22 18:08:09 UTC

well that and people taking polling cards in and wearing a different hat each time

2019-12-22 18:08:25 UTC

they ask for -zero- id here, just need name & address

2019-12-22 18:08:33 UTC

its stupid
