looooooooool
@Eccles infected Mushroom is great, this is probably my favourite song (after cum zone and cum throne but they don’t count because they’re meme edits) https://youtu.be/ahmzAj3k2KQ
Someone should try to infiltrate this by saying they're racist if they don't admit them without ID
Anyone live near Bolton?
it's alright twitter will just purge #StormzyIsAMassiveBellend once it starts trending
Honestly I don't see an issue with voter ID in the UK <:shrug:349342983763656705>
You get a ballot anyway and most peeps carry their drivers license with them everywhere
I actually assumed I needed ID with me when I voted Leave. It shocked me that nobody asked for it.
But muh millennials who just use uber and have never learned to drive?
If you cant drive you probably aren't old enough or experienced enough to vote <:PepeLaugh:565528391336329216>
Lol katie hopkins
she's a mong as well
@Storin arguments against it are that ID's would require some less privileged people to figure a way to get, ie public transport, to the offices you get the ID from. Not sure if the UK is the same way though
NAh thats bullshit. If you aren't politically active enough to go and get photographic ID or a new Voter card perhaps you should not be voting to begin with <:shrug:349342983763656705>
And the excuse that those less privileged lose out is bullshit unless blacks in America cant drive or cant get this card etc
Because that is exactly who they are talking about when they say no voter ID- minorities who are "pathetic and need help"
I know its bullshit lol
I believe voter ID should be required to vote
In any case the real reason it's not enforced federally is because parties want them foreigner votes
To artificially boost their support, because typically immigrants don't know better
Katie Hopkins is at least amusing. Owen Jones, by contrast, is just a wanker
@Storin alternatively some can't drive due to not being able to afford it or just prefer not to drive
Then they are not adults <:shrug:349342983763656705>
i think it was determined a while ago that jones is a 'wankpuffin'
In nearly every job it is at least an entry requirement to drive or be able to get to your place of employment
That's not how things work
People went for millennia without driving and they were adults then.
I prefer to get the bus for example as it allows me to do other things on my way
Even if you don't drive not having a license is hamstringing yourself
That may be true but doesn't make them any less of an adult for not wanting to drive
its fair to not expect people to have a driving license or passport, but there are things called buses, taxis etc
That's what I just said, I get the bus instead of driving as I prefer it
so they can go to the council orifice to receive their ID, if they cant then they dont care much about voting - how can you even postal vote if you wont go as far as a postbox
Exactly
Absolutely but that wasn't my point
My point was just because someone can't or doesn't want to drive doesn't make them not an adult
That is how a voter ID has always been proposed- as a stop gap measure for those without photographic ID (ie drivers license, passport, govt ID) like if you don't have even one of those you must be sheltered <:shrug:349342983763656705>
labour just hate it because it'll put a dampener on the shady collection of postal votes in 'certain areas'
Ballot paper combined with voter ID= very little voter fraud (on the end of voting)
well that and people taking polling cards in and wearing a different hat each time
they ask for -zero- id here, just need name & address
