Repost from general discussion: I forgave my mother today. She said she “accepts my apology “. Interesting because my forgiveness wasn’t an apology for her to accept. I think that I failed because she thinks that I’m the one who’s wrong because I held anger and resentment towards her. I honestly don’t know how to proceed from here. Do I go through the process again to explain she’s the one who caused me to be that way since she didn’t get it the first time?

@GIDEON 4000 you shouldn't be feeling that you need a reaction from her. it means she still controls you.

forgiving her should be a feeling in you, and just saying the words doesn't equal you actually forgiving. I can't speak for Jesse, but I believe he would say that as soon as you forgive, then God automatically forgives you.

What have you done to better yourself today?

went to the GNc and got some preworkout, BCAA's, and protein powder. Got home meditated and winding down before I wind up for the week.

@J_G_ I have a book downloaded on my laptop called “from sex to super consciousness” by Osho, Indian political speaker and spiritual. You talked about before about Hinduism and vedas so maybe you’d be interested. I’d be happy to email to you if you want 💛

I’ve figured out my goals, and I’m not committing myself to action. It’s 7 am, and I’m going to go meditate and shower! Going to continue on the path.

As of right now, I’d like to thank Jesse and BOND, because I’ve gotten my life in order. I obtained a new job and I’m moving out into my own place. I’m going to start school again in January, as well. As soon as I’m used to my job I’ll be getting a gym membership and I’ll be working on myself, grinding. As men we have to sweat for what we have and earn. We can’t be held back by our fear. Thank you @JesseLee for your wisdom and for helping put me on the right path.

@noobpocket hey man, its great to hear about a brother doing well. If you can, enroll in a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy; or any martial art. It fosters camaraderie, self-confidence, and life long friendships. You meet people that are practicing a beautiful but challenging art and you're learning together. You advancing together. You'll have stories to tell! Trust me. I haven't met anyone that didn't like it yet. Continue making progress brother. We all have your back.

I had some questions I think could get some help with 😅

Do all men need to be manly men?

Like don't guys like hanging out with cuter less imposing guys? Or do you think they don't make good company?

I like going downtown with my tougher friends because I can just chill and not worry about getting jumped or harassed. It's just easier since I'm pretty small and weak. I think it's smart.

Some men are more poetic and weak like Jacob in the Bible. Nothing really wrong with it. A beta is a man who is Spiritually weak, not physically.

I thought hanging out with a manlier crowd would help me be more manly, but it kind of makes me feel effeminate instead since they treat me like a beta. Is there anything I can do?

@aeriey if this has to do with you possibly being an introvert, then I can answer that being an introvert doesn’t make you a beta male. It’s spiritually & emotionally that does.
