When are we going into the leg business?

2019-09-30 21:10:22 UTC

once we get land mines made legal again there should be a healthy market

2019-09-30 21:18:42 UTC

Leg business?

2019-09-30 21:18:45 UTC

Selling legs?

2019-09-30 21:43:55 UTC

Article doesn’t really do anything

2019-09-30 21:44:03 UTC

More vague BS from Boris

2019-09-30 21:44:16 UTC

No checkpoints, instead we will call them CLEARANCE ZONES

2019-09-30 21:44:27 UTC

TOTALLY DIFFERENT GUIS

2019-09-30 21:45:34 UTC

May 2.0

2019-09-30 21:49:44 UTC

If it's for Articulated Lorries only, then it is totally different guis

2019-09-30 22:02:55 UTC

"Sources involved in the negotiations with the EU say the checks proposed would not be at the Irish border, and suggestions that there would be a series of checkpoints along the border are a misunderstanding."

2019-09-30 22:03:02 UTC

Sounds like checks away from the border

2019-09-30 22:03:13 UTC

Something everyone with a brain has been saying is possible for 3 years

2019-09-30 22:04:02 UTC

So long as any "Border" in huge quotes is between ireland and NI and does not lock NI into a customs union it's alot better than May's deal

2019-09-30 22:04:36 UTC

I often wondered why NI wouldn't jump at the chance at some kind of special status - they're forever whinging about being poor

2019-09-30 22:06:26 UTC

If Ashcroft thinks he's on to a winner, he should think again

2019-09-30 22:06:31 UTC

Honestly at this point if the checks have to happen well they have to happen. The "Sources" say they wont be at the border and will be remote from it, most likely things like trusted trader schemes. Which has been the point put forward by the leave campaign for 3 years

2019-09-30 22:06:50 UTC

Capitulating to the delay then using it as a campaign rallying cry was always a sensible fall-back position

2019-09-30 22:07:32 UTC

Standards aren't going to disalign quickly, and we would probably stick to EU product rules anyway

2019-09-30 22:07:47 UTC

Phyto/agric standards have been talked about because they're a genuine thing

2019-09-30 22:07:47 UTC

When did what ashcroft is saying happen?

2019-09-30 22:08:08 UTC

What EU is really worried about is drop of prices of goods, fuel, booze UK side causing a smuggling issue

2019-09-30 22:08:34 UTC

Tweeted it today, presumably in reference to something said at the Tory conference

2019-09-30 22:08:46 UTC

Honestly, standards wont disallign at all unless the EU changes thing hugely, especially in the engineering sector.

2019-09-30 22:09:09 UTC

Course not, Joshu, standards are tending to align wordwide anyway because of the corporate incentive

2019-09-30 22:09:11 UTC

You think the gov would change everything massively? Learning that shit is hard

2019-09-30 22:09:24 UTC

Like when youre in a meeting and someone says something

2019-09-30 22:09:37 UTC

you have to be able to say "Well shit that isnt gonna work because x"

2019-09-30 22:09:39 UTC

It's nothing to do with standards, really, and everything to do with competitive advantage

2019-09-30 22:09:59 UTC

and that is usually based on the understanding of the standards

2019-09-30 22:10:06 UTC

in my case the machinery directive

2019-09-30 22:10:13 UTC

@wacka been more out than in today. What did Kwasi say?

2019-09-30 22:10:19 UTC

2019-10-01 01:25:19 UTC

2019-10-01 01:25:28 UTC

2019-10-01 04:48:49 UTC

Bexit is gonna happen eventually

2019-10-01 04:50:23 UTC

When you think about it, some terribly bloody wars have been fought more viciously... <:Veemote:501103628883591188>
