@CarletonJ so what's the plan with this? Are there going to be multiple books being read at a time and we just pick a group/subject and participate in that reading schedule?
I considered that idea, but thought it would be too much of a hassle. We could definitely start some kind of reading club. But the main plan with this server is for members to post beneficial books in the specific categories for other members to benefit from them as well.
The IE Official Reading List will be a list compiled of books suggested by leadership. This is still being worked on.
TIR stands for Today I Read - you can honestly post anything informative here.
@everyone
If you guys have any suggestions on how we could improve this server, do not be shy to DM me.
We could use the "Book of the Month" to post a book we could all try to read that month, and discuss it.
Book of the Month would get me to increase my reading. I often read sporadically, 2-3 books in a row over a few weeks and then nothing piques my interest for months.
It's a great idea.
How do the subject specific channels work?
Are they just for posting books, or discussion too?
This is gonna be the big brained nibba server
@Jacob the channels are for just posting books, the general chat in those categories can be used for discussion, or you can use the overall general chat on the server.
Try to subject them the best you can, doesn't have to be perfect.
If you have any questions, I could try to help
@Jacob we were just talking about this!! I think we should pretty much just claim this was our idea...
lol ya I actually did suggest the creation of a literature server a few weeks ago, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few other people came to the idea independantly
I don't really care who gets credit as long as it's for the good of the organization
Nope. This was us. And only us. Lol
Yeah, I'm just kidding around.
If we have a book we wish to reccomend with a pdf of the book, are we allowed to send the pdf as well?
I really like this idea though. Great plan. Nothing helps red pill the normies like a big, educated brain.
