A bottle (about half a pound) retails at about eight bucks. Beekeeper charges about 1/2 to 2/3 of that.

@Deleted User could you describe the flavor/texture of the pears?

2017-07-31 14:05:31 UTC

Juicy as hell, little gritty and have an earthy taste moreso than you'd expect

@R O M A N V S sterilization is key

2017-08-06 06:40:22 UTC

2017-08-18 01:04:14 UTC

Can anyone ID this plant?

Queen Anne's lace, I think.

2017-08-18 01:04:58 UTC

"Chigger-weed"

2017-08-18 01:05:31 UTC

carrot?

2017-08-18 01:05:50 UTC

They're all over the yard at our new place.

2017-08-18 01:06:07 UTC

Not in a garden.

2017-08-18 01:06:48 UTC

It's in the carrot family tho

2017-08-18 01:07:23 UTC

Daucus carota

2017-08-18 01:07:31 UTC

Wild carrot/queen Anne's lace looks like it.

2017-08-18 01:07:35 UTC

Thanks!

2017-08-18 01:08:15 UTC

You may not want to pick or walk around while wearing shorts. Chiggers suck.

2017-08-18 01:08:36 UTC

Yeah I've had them before. Horrible.

2017-08-18 01:09:17 UTC

So, is there a way to ID apples? We have a tree and we don't know what kind they are.

2017-08-18 01:10:45 UTC

post a pic

They "look" like Stayman

2017-08-18 01:25:51 UTC

Thanks. The don't taste like much.

2017-08-18 01:26:42 UTC

Cut out sugar and they'll taste like candy

2017-08-18 01:26:47 UTC

Lol

2017-08-18 01:31:43 UTC

I don't eat a whole lot of sugar. I mean compared the Golden Delicious down the hill, they dont taste like much.

2017-08-18 01:32:10 UTC

Maybe it was just that one I ate.

2017-08-18 01:45:14 UTC

Yeah those are better for cider

2017-08-18 01:45:56 UTC

Good, were big cider drinkers.

2017-08-18 01:46:04 UTC

Thanks!

2017-08-18 01:50:00 UTC

Just poking fun

2017-08-18 02:32:46 UTC

I know, no worries 👍

2017-08-31 00:53:43 UTC

I've found a few of these around the property. Not sure what they are. They were under oak trees. Any ideas?

This hurricane is gonna totally ruin my aquaponics

2017-09-09 12:36:22 UTC

@John M -#7072 looks like spring mix lettuce

2017-09-09 12:37:35 UTC

I can't remember exactly what it was. I wasn't expecting it to do well in 90° Florida weather. The other stuff is radishes, beets, and onions.

2017-09-09 12:38:24 UTC

There's a strain of Arizona and Jericho lettuce that does well in high heat. Yours looks great.
