your macaroni art is safe
_for now_
@OMGDwayne You wanna talk about par excellence? https://youtu.be/Rr8ljRgcJNM
I like old-fashioned sangers. I know these fellas sang all sweet and purty, but they are real men who worked in factories all their lives as machinists. Back then a man took it for granted that he was a man. I've seen hundreds of pictures of rough old baseball players pre-war who would sit together with arms around each others' shoulders. They didn't ever even thank about homos. So here is a song from my youth. I know it because my old Aunt Elma Ruth played for me in 1958 when I was four years old. She said, "Here's purty song. I jist love this'un." I doubt very much if I could have kicked her ass when I was 20 and she was 50. Nuff said: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QM_Wuo46Grw
*We’re all living in Amerika- Coca-Cola, sometimes war*
I'm more of a vanilla coke drinker, myself
I'm a big fan of bluegrass music honestly. Stuff is great to listen to.
I actually met Dolly Parton when I was a kid. Nice lady.
Of course my musical tastes are practically everywhere, so it's hard to take that as a compliment
Suomi. You're Finn. One of the great northern people.
Hey it's another Ocastio-Cortez situation, this time in
Boston , also DSA
I'm Okay With This.jpg
I met Dolly Parton, at the Dixie Stampede, in Branson, Missouri.
Real American childhood
Although I must say my best live music act I went to was hands down Flogging Molly
Man I’d love to see flogging molly
I went to some interesting concerts in japan. They’ve got neat light shows
@Suomi Stronk My musical tastes are also all over the place. I like Italian Opera and Thrash metal and everything in between. But in taking inventory I note that everybody I like is WHITE. Even the great Holly Golightly.
What's wrong with these guys? These initiations are insane
@Salo Saloson if you’ve not been to the jazz fest in Montreal you should go at some point
It’s awesome
I haven't, but that's also because going to Canada is like getting your teeth pulled: it has to happen sometime, but you don't rush into it
@Deleted User lmao. Imagine being a 23rd degree Scottish rite proud boy
I saw the old Allman Brothers several times in the early 70s. The first time was in 1969 when they opened for Spirit at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium. I couldn't believe it. I still love them. They used to play for free in Piedmont Park to lure people to their paying shows. They beat the Blacks hands down when it came to the Blues;
Man my dad loves them
Dude has an allman brothers shrine practically
>If you have issues with tattoos just brand yourself
Wait what
Of course I like Johnny Winter just as much. Maybe even a little more. Whites always did the Blues better. Check out the immortal Stevie Winwood. The best soul singer ever. It all comes down to the details though.
@ophiuchus How old is your Dad?
@Deleted User Odd stuff. People all have their own views on NoFap, but requiring it of all members seems odd. And martial training is important, but a frat-style hazing kumite has no utility.
'fray-style hazing kumite' sounds like a great premise for a martial arts film
@OMGDwayne he’s about 62
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN They also promote degenerate hook-up culture, these guys are basically just a frat
And what dissident movement would demand a permanent label on their peoples' skin? Huge security risk, that.
@Deleted User Indeed. I'm glad they're getting into street brawls while IE works smartly at changing the culture, setting up support networks, and serving the community.
@ophiuchus Well he is exactly almost my age. Say hey to him for me. Tell to read Dwayne's daughters biography of her and her Dad. It is a real eye opener.
@OMGDwayne he also lived in Atlanta for a long time, it’s where he met my mom. She was a nurse and he was working security at a hospital.
