My ex gf used to call herself short and she was taller than me
LOL
I'm sorry but pixie cuts are trash
deleted potentially contentious pretentious comment.
Somebody had to say it
@ThisIsChris Do you have any recommendations? Maybe I can solicit donations on the website to pay for the hosting if it gets big enough
@Jacob https://digitalocean.com has a one-click setup for phpmyadmin
thanks
dude this project is gonna be huge
they call them one-click apps and it will come with mysql and phpmyadmin already set up
DigitalOcean is decent.
A massive database that anyone in our movement can use to find relevant research on immigration on any major topic
be sure to click the phpmyadmin one and not the mysql one
smallest plan I think is 5 / month
Maybe if I get a good enough Google search ranking, the website is going to come up whenever students are researching immigration
did someone say sql
lol
@ophiuchus yes, the best used language
> go on Google
> search something about immigration
> get a massive database on why it sucks
that would be awesome.
I would die for sql
@ophiuchus of course
@ophiuchus you would love prolog

it's like if someone made sql a more concise language, and then allowed you to make entire computer programs out of it instead of just querying databases
Update she does not have a pixie cut thankfully
these are the categories I have so far
hmmm
try it online
click on examples at the top
and then example queries at the bottom right
@ThisIsChris If I set up a phpmyadmin website, how hard would it be to add other stuff to the website, like pages outside the database
@Why Tea The term suppression is also used, but that might be better. I'll see what's used in most of the research
Depress.
Suppress isn't right, man.
I promise you.
@Jacob phpmyadmin is a self-contained web ui to a database, it's not for making anything outside of it. but it's better to get started quickly with that and then you can make a new frontend for the data in the database later
If someone is using suppress, that's weird.
