Im gonna /bloat/ today
Our turkey still has about 3hrs to go and I'm not sure if it'll work with the neck and giblets still inside 🤷
It's an experiment
I took the neck out and placed it on the side
Couldn't get them out
I already feel full off of the hors d'oeuvres
I got tired of cooking after making the stuffing
Still fasting rn
Next year we'll do it proper

What temp are y’all calling the turkey good?
The breasts seem to be stuck at 145 I just cranked the oven up
We got spoiled in San Diego, huge group all within an hour or less
It's supposed to reach 175 I think
165-175
Cool I was shooting for 165
Oven is 325 rn, cranking it to 425 after 4 hrs
Same but 400
Imma follow your lead with the 425
It still had ice inside this morning after all night in cold water
I cooked mine for an hour at 425 and then roughly 3 hours at 325
I look forward to letting my brother, the meat master, take over turkey duty next year
I need to go put up the food but I'm so tired I'm bout to fall asleep in my chair
I should be making gravy but the baby is asleep on me as usual
Most of my food doesn't require much preparation
So I'm just gonna wait until a friend gets here and we'll figure it out together
