One of the many reasons I don’t leave the house on this day

I realized last night my parents used to do the Black Friday thing in varying degrees every year. Now? When the area is more diverse? They’re almost all online

Not that I want us to do the super consumerist shopping early in the morning or on thanksgiving

I mean have you seen how crazy Blacks get?

I went out for a bit last night and this morning. Got a few cheap games and movies and a free $5.00 giftcaard from Half-Priced Books. I used to really enjoy Black Friday shopping, but this year I found it depressing.

I live in MN, though, so at least it is safe.

My local thrift store is giving away all of its clothes and things free. Great Black Friday.

They probably have so much unsellable inventory that they would rather give away than pay for the trash collector to pick up.
