Soft eugenics, hard eugenics, where do you draw the line. Gene editing just seems like a fast forward of what nature does to me.

@Jacob its basic genetics. A lack of sufficient genetic diversity brought about by for example some company with CRISPer exploiting a fad for blonde hair and blue eyes could yes. It would create effects similar to inbreeding.

@missliterallywho I think meaning can and should be derived through accomplishment and fufillment not necessarily suffering.
I've worked with people with disabilities before and they suffer a lot more than people realize, to the point where it interferes with their ability to pursue meaning in life.
