@Isabella Locke-MT been pretty good! Finally got a Christmas tree 🌲 how was your trip?
Gotta love when things like this show up on on an apolitical cringe VHS channel
https://youtu.be/g1vx-B4SSvs
Kid's got moves!
But not bc it’s gonna make everyone rich. It’s probably just better to counter fraud and people mostly won’t have an excuse anymore @Virgil
Sitting in a plane was terrible but glad I got to see my family. Even though I learned all the drama that I moved away from 🤷
@Goose would the facility be a museum to tell the story of evil racists though?
Those damn rich white liberals scamming people out of money constantly
@missliterallywho of course
If only we took their money and gave it to Israel we would be way better off
i don't see it happening though
students and teachers are already kvetching
@Isabella Locke-MT physical distance is such a great remedy for family drama
@VinceChaos Well no, in the welfare industry it is extremely difficult to counter fraud sometimes and investigations can go on for months at a time. Meanwhile they still have to get they're benefits until an investigation is completed.
looks like the right is gaining ground in spain
@Virgil if the state decides to initiate a UBI program then it should have heavy immigration restrictions
When I say UBI I mean on average, adjusted for municipal and state living costs, about 20-30 thousand a year, hardly rich.
well this kinda sums up our current situation nicely
I also can't help but feel UBI is a trap to increase control. Only certain purchases allowed, payments ceased fue to wrongthink, etv
@Virgil right so UBI would reduce the need for fraud investigations. Everyone gets the money and you can do whatever you want with it within legality
@Asatru Artist - MD People won't be working much in the future with automation driving people out of the workforce and lowering labor value.
I’m against it bc of what @Asatru Artist - MD said but I do actually think it’d cut down on fraud
Honestly I'm not totally against assisting the poor as long as we have a homogenous society first
@VinceChaos Yes, that's a pretty good point.
@StevePines -WA Nice avatar, brother.
I think that all assistance should be temporary
Focus on increasing eugenic effects. Less welfare needed when you have high IQ population. We just have so much debt....
I wonder if progressives would oppose UBI because wealthy white people would receive the same amount as minorities?
Thanks
Nobody should be able to live off of the system their entire lives
@Asatru Artist - MD my man, got the right gear on too.
If low skilled people won't be working in the future their character will decrease exponentially. Why then even have such people in your society? 🤔
That's why the elites start wars
y'all are too busy focusing on UBI and ignoring the real issue... tipping
to get rid of those people who are no longer necessary
@Asatru Artist - MD Not really, welfare is an enormous, costly and inefficient bureacratic nightmare due to fraud and income calculations and verifications amongst other things. UBI is a simple monthly or bi-weekly direct deposit.
For the middle class at least, tax credits seems to work better than welfare. Lest we have some kind of idiocracy situation happen due to welfare.
Tipping is unnecessary in a serious country
Yeah my sister was a waitress and it definitely is a stupid practice
So are immigrants
you could make $100 one night and nothing the next
I don't think UBI is any farther in the plausibility spectrum than reparations.
In fact I can see a DSA-esque Harris administration pairing the two. UBI, but on a privilege scale.
