@Jacob I agree that hostility to Russia is silly, but when people say Eastern Europe they mean Byzantine influenced Orthodox countries that were descended from the Kievan Rus. Poland is none of those, plus it is geographically in the center of Europe

Every world power is selfish. America would eat up smaller countries if it could, too. The trick is creating a mutually beneficial partership so they have no need to do that. @Alex Kolchak - NY

@Virgil The way I understand it is that Eastern Europe is Slavic + heavily Slavic influenced countries. Sure, Poland is different from East Slavs, but it definitely has more in common culturally with Russia than Germany.

Putin isn't a white nationalist, he's a russian nationalist. He can be expected to like us when we aren't the dominant power in the west, and to turn on us the moment we are, unless us attaining predominant influence coincides with china getting really out of control and wanting to gang up against them.
