He just couldn’t get over the weed thing
We have paper mills here?
That’s what he does so I’m assuming
What do we mill into paper, the sand from the desert?
I didn't know you could make paper or out of driftweed
Haha idk maybe it’s coming from the west that is a good question I’ll find out details for you later and let you know what city it was in
thanks
okay I'm partially joking because this picture is also Eastern Washington
ohhhhhhh he's probably right on the westernmost part of Eastern Washington before the desert starts
Is it sparsely populated?
yes
It’s like the Midwest except you have coastal elites making your laws lol
I mean there's big cities in Eastern Washington, but nothing like the Seattle
Rather than old white land owner guys
The second biggest city is in the East, however, that's kind of misleading, because, it's different from the western big cities. Cities like Seattle sprawl on and on forever. Spokane doesn't have nearly the suburbs that Seattle has.
Has anyone watched Greys Anatomy? I used to chime in on it with my wife but it’s progressively gotten more subversive. We can’t watch it no more it’s gross. It’s like the walking dead bragging about every relationship being either interracial or gay
Spokane ehh
I haven't watched TV in forever
I imagine Canadian accents in eastern Washington
nah we're pretty redneck here as far as northerners go
James and I are from the same suburban area in Western Washington. I think we both just kind of moved here, found out we like it more, and assimilated into it.
We actually went to high school in the same city.
Welp I guess I just doxxed the general area I went to high school in. Good thing I'm five hours away.
Happy December 6th!
A little European tradition for ya... 🎅🏻

Northwest high desert people are tough, but I think my favorite Northnecks are Yoopers.

Mostly due to the eccentricity
@Tyler0317 one of Baltimore’s former nicknames was the Coney Island of the south, because there was a prominent amusement park in the Inner harbor as recently as the 60’s. Some parts of Maryland can absolutely be considered Southern (lol, the southern parts, and a lot of the white flight areas outside of cosmopolitan areas) and the western part is Appalachian
Central Maryland was southern in the way Virginia is. No longer is that way, obviously, but there are pockets. Look at Carroll county for example, very much rural, native, and could be considered southern. 90%+ white as well
I like Mainers @Wood-Ape - OK/MN
Culturally, the two Nation-States weren’t that similar if only due to the differences in religion and how they were founded
Eh, Maryland was never majority Catholic, just more accepting of Catholics
Has gotten a lot more white Catholic with time and immigration
Polish, Irish, German
We’ve also always had a more Northern sounding accent
@William Russell. My wife watches a lot of tv and it seems every show now is either interracial, gay or single parents. <:really:453005408064241674>
Yea that’s modern television so it seems
They’re trying to force the strong woman main character too hard
I was going to watch a nice ww2 movie the other day turned out to be about 12 soviet women who took down the entire third Reich
I'm just mad Maryland has the most generic American non-accent. 😑
