I guess It'd be refreshing if I didn't get it as often

2018-12-06 13:35:25 UTC

I could see that in washnington

2018-12-06 13:35:35 UTC

I suppose a sunny day is a refresher

2018-12-06 13:35:51 UTC

Now rain on a sunny day.. that’s something else

2018-12-06 13:36:12 UTC

no dude Eastern Washington is burning hot desert and not much rain

2018-12-06 13:36:21 UTC

you're thinking of the wrong Washington

2018-12-06 13:36:31 UTC

Lol western Washington

2018-12-06 13:36:50 UTC

I grew up on the other side, though, so I grew up with the rain

2018-12-06 13:37:00 UTC

My dad just got back from a few weeks in eastern Washington working in a paper mill

2018-12-06 13:37:27 UTC

He just couldn’t get over the weed thing

2018-12-06 13:37:30 UTC

We have paper mills here?

2018-12-06 13:37:54 UTC

That’s what he does so I’m assuming

2018-12-06 13:38:02 UTC

What do we mill into paper, the sand from the desert?

2018-12-06 13:38:35 UTC

I didn't know you could make paper or out of driftweed

2018-12-06 13:38:40 UTC

Haha idk maybe it’s coming from the west that is a good question I’ll find out details for you later and let you know what city it was in

2018-12-06 13:38:48 UTC

thanks

2018-12-06 13:39:14 UTC

okay I'm partially joking because this picture is also Eastern Washington

2018-12-06 13:40:26 UTC

ohhhhhhh he's probably right on the westernmost part of Eastern Washington before the desert starts

2018-12-06 13:40:34 UTC

Is it sparsely populated?

2018-12-06 13:40:38 UTC

yes

2018-12-06 13:41:04 UTC

It’s like the Midwest except you have coastal elites making your laws lol

2018-12-06 13:41:17 UTC

I mean there's big cities in Eastern Washington, but nothing like the Seattle

2018-12-06 13:41:22 UTC

Rather than old white land owner guys

2018-12-06 13:43:15 UTC

The second biggest city is in the East, however, that's kind of misleading, because, it's different from the western big cities. Cities like Seattle sprawl on and on forever. Spokane doesn't have nearly the suburbs that Seattle has.

2018-12-06 13:43:42 UTC

Has anyone watched Greys Anatomy? I used to chime in on it with my wife but it’s progressively gotten more subversive. We can’t watch it no more it’s gross. It’s like the walking dead bragging about every relationship being either interracial or gay

2018-12-06 13:43:57 UTC

Spokane ehh

2018-12-06 13:44:11 UTC

I haven't watched TV in forever

2018-12-06 13:44:12 UTC

I imagine Canadian accents in eastern Washington

2018-12-06 13:44:54 UTC

nah we're pretty redneck here as far as northerners go

2018-12-06 13:45:16 UTC

Haha James Allsup is a good manifestation of the northern redneck lol

2018-12-06 13:46:27 UTC

James and I are from the same suburban area in Western Washington. I think we both just kind of moved here, found out we like it more, and assimilated into it.

2018-12-06 13:46:45 UTC

We actually went to high school in the same city.

2018-12-06 13:48:33 UTC

Welp I guess I just doxxed the general area I went to high school in. Good thing I'm five hours away.

2018-12-06 14:03:35 UTC

Happy December 6th!

Northwest high desert people are tough, but I think my favorite Northnecks are Yoopers.

2018-12-06 14:05:39 UTC

Mostly due to the eccentricity

2018-12-06 14:05:45 UTC

@Tyler0317 one of Baltimore’s former nicknames was the Coney Island of the south, because there was a prominent amusement park in the Inner harbor as recently as the 60’s. Some parts of Maryland can absolutely be considered Southern (lol, the southern parts, and a lot of the white flight areas outside of cosmopolitan areas) and the western part is Appalachian

2018-12-06 14:07:49 UTC

Central Maryland was southern in the way Virginia is. No longer is that way, obviously, but there are pockets. Look at Carroll county for example, very much rural, native, and could be considered southern. 90%+ white as well

2018-12-06 14:12:49 UTC

I like Mainers @Wood-Ape - OK/MN

2018-12-06 14:13:50 UTC

Culturally, the two Nation-States weren’t that similar if only due to the differences in religion and how they were founded
