And I don't think it's fair to say they had 2 million cars for 140 people, because that wasn't the only model. And I'm sure a lot of people used public transportation. Car culture is a very American thing. Even in nicer European countries people use public transportation.

@Josh M. -OH yes for gold I'd definitely get coins since they look cooler. For Silver I realized the coins have a lot of grooves that make it hard to clean off the tarnish. (some people say not to touch your silver coins but for me that's half the fun!)
