2020-12-08 04:29:14 UTC

no im not at a club

2020-12-08 04:32:08 UTC

I think all denominations of Christianity should be seen as good as we are all worshipping the same God, the same son of God, the same Ten Commandments, and the same morals, the only difference is some of us worship a little bit different

2020-12-08 04:36:23 UTC

@KaiserWally as long as they don't add anything or twist the word, I would agree

2020-12-08 04:37:25 UTC

Yup, definitely

2020-12-08 04:55:57 UTC

I'm non-denominational now. We used to go to Methodist Church but there was a old couple that went to the church their entire life and only missed when they were sick or for their grandsons football games. They donated no telling how much to that damn church and when they died the preacher wouldn't do their funeral because they didn't go enough even though the were extremely sick.

2020-12-08 04:56:57 UTC

Kinda be careful when donating to a church because a lot of them don't do services for the right reasons.

2020-12-08 04:57:26 UTC

A lot of churches do it for the money.

2020-12-08 05:02:30 UTC

My opinion is to not give money to the church use it help others, help the poor

2020-12-08 05:05:11 UTC

Helping the needy is also considered tithing

2020-12-08 05:06:08 UTC

Now if the church is responsible with money you give then I don't see a problem giving money to the church.

2020-12-08 05:10:37 UTC

Makes sense

2020-12-08 05:55:15 UTC

In my view, if you don't trust your church with your tithe, you should go to another church. It's likely a church like that also has theological problems.

For me, I always tithe at my church but I know many of the organizations around town and in the region the money goes to and the church every year publishes percent wise where all the money went.

2020-12-08 06:10:52 UTC

I have $102 of tithing

2020-12-08 07:06:18 UTC

Apparently I've gained and lost over 1k this year 😬

2020-12-08 07:52:28 UTC

This ..this is what I'm saying. JESUS said we only needed to do two things to be saved and neither was choose a certain church as that was religion.

2020-12-08 14:15:28 UTC

I know the obvious differences between catholic and protestant. But knowing how corrupt today's pope is and about the history of sexual abuse of young boys in the catholic church I have no desire to research that church anymore and certainly no desire to join.

2020-12-08 14:37:17 UTC

Nice video, Jimmy Akin is a great apologist

2020-12-08 14:57:39 UTC

Don't know if this is the right place, but got banned on YouTube yesterday for posting mainstream Christian views, then got banned on r/youtube for posting about it. Lost 13+ years of content on YouTube, and even though they suspended the account, they didn't suspend my premium YouTube subscription. Figures. I figured out a way to cancel it. Anyway. Sorry Tyler, I no longer will get updates on your videos, or be able to support you.

The denominations split for reason. If it's a good enough reason for them to not have fellowship, you should at least look into why and not assume it's nothing. Even from their own judgement, it's not nothing. It's so serious, they won't have communion because of it.

2020-12-08 15:07:46 UTC

A lot. To go over the difference would take at least 96 pages. šŸ˜‰ However, the reason Luther was excommunicated, and is the only branch of protestantism that came from the Catholic Church, was two confessions. The Pope is not the head of the church (the big reason), and you're saved by faith alone.

2020-12-08 15:39:18 UTC

dang dude, that sucks

2020-12-08 16:06:24 UTC

I know the tithing talk was earlier, but I’m always worried I’ll forget one week, and then when I’m asked at tithing settlement if I pay a full tithe, I’ll say yes, and it will be a lie. 😬

2020-12-08 17:05:34 UTC

Oof

2020-12-08 18:24:34 UTC

Freaking. Same. Just did tithing settlement actually. The bishop thought it was funny that I’d always paid it in person
