Pretty much everyone I talk to on a regular basis knows what I believe, probably not the greatest thing but none of them would dox me or ruin my life or anything

I talk to her about the most extreme political thought that goes on in my head

I'd love to be able to tell my parents I'm in IE without my mom disowning me, but it's not realistic. I've hinted at my views with my dad

But not too much because she doesn’t care that much

My mom isn't even registered to vote but she gets it

She realizes the direction the country is going

@Undercover Academic - IL My wife knows what is happening. She sees it every day with unblinkered eyes. But she is so frightened about the logical outcome. The inevitable outcome. She thinks I'm insane because I welcome what's coming. I just wish I was a young man. You fellows are lucky. You have inherited the utterly insane wreck that my generation and my parents' generation made of the most successful civilization in history. @Undercover Academic - IL The church they go to is ELCA, so egalitarian Christians, although really my mom is more committed to secular progressive lgbt stuff to the point of calling people who actually care what the Bible says bigots. My dad is generic republican
