Oh I'm well versed in calibers and types of ammunition, ask doc, or really anyone I've talked about firearms with.

2020-12-13 22:04:40 UTC

I donโ€™t wish that experience in anyone, but I was in Fallujah

2020-12-13 22:04:43 UTC

why would a 40 cal be more dangerous than a 223 at 20 yards????

2020-12-13 22:04:57 UTC
2020-12-13 22:05:27 UTC

No telling how many times I had to take a break and wipe my ass... Some really close calls on that deployment.

2020-12-13 22:05:45 UTC

I actually highly recommend the good ol' Russian slug for home defense.

2020-12-13 22:05:54 UTC

Only way a 40 is more dangerous at close range is if itโ€™s a hollow point.

2020-12-13 22:06:07 UTC

Maybe a slow moving projectile with more ft/lbs of force? Only thing I can think of

2020-12-13 22:06:07 UTC

Dragons breath for the win!

2020-12-13 22:06:26 UTC

> until that point where you no longer shit your pants. When your psyche has died.
@Doc History indicates that I become hyperfocused. I was as surprised by it as anyone.

2020-12-13 22:06:29 UTC

@{CAP}Radeon i was searching for a dogshit icon.

2020-12-13 22:06:40 UTC

It has to do with overpenetration, yes.

2020-12-13 22:06:51 UTC

That would be Marines! I was in the Cavalry.

2020-12-13 22:06:52 UTC

Let's it this way. Thailand went with science and contact tracing. Trump went with calling science idiots and promoting virus orgies. Nobody is saying counties couldnt return to normalcy after doing the right thing. Quite the opposite its lack of leadership that puts us in a position we cant return to living.

2020-12-13 22:06:56 UTC

@Zuluzeit Nice, isnt it? Cool and calmness. Like being on the moon.

2020-12-13 22:06:58 UTC

@Maw I figured overpen would be common sense with a higher velocity and soft target

2020-12-13 22:07:08 UTC

@{CAP}Radeon horse-shit then.

2020-12-13 22:07:10 UTC

Apparently it's not common sense.

2020-12-13 22:07:12 UTC

Would rather have a 30

2020-12-13 22:07:13 UTC

Hahaha

2020-12-13 22:07:17 UTC

30 mm

2020-12-13 22:07:24 UTC

Well that's the real doodoo here

2020-12-13 22:07:34 UTC

Pew pew

2020-12-13 22:07:39 UTC

We are talking about weapons you can carry... Not whole ass Apaches!

2020-12-13 22:07:53 UTC

> @Zuluzeit Nice, isnt it? Cool and calmness. Like being on the moon.
@Doc Yes, surreal. Whole mind floating on a placid pond.

2020-12-13 22:08:08 UTC

night or day, @Zuluzeit ?

2020-12-13 22:08:14 UTC

I think one of my friends has a 22mm AMR

2020-12-13 22:08:15 UTC

I no longer see Doc's statements. Not that its relevant. My comments are in response to your comments. In general I find you very knowledgeable in a myriad of issues but on this issue I think you are in error in regards to some statements.

I certainly didnt make that assessment by something as silly as calling an AR 15 an assault rifle (as whether it meets the definition or not, it is commonly described as such) And that alone does NOT make someone uninformed on the entire subject.

2020-12-13 22:08:35 UTC

I roll my own .451 and .457.

2020-12-13 22:08:42 UTC

It's an indicator.

2020-12-13 22:08:47 UTC

Great! Then I can tell the fool that when you google "dunning kruger" it says: "See JD-Jordan!"

2020-12-13 22:08:50 UTC

2020-12-13 22:08:53 UTC

2020-12-13 22:08:54 UTC

2020-12-13 22:08:59 UTC

S & W Mod 36 and H&K P7M8

2020-12-13 22:09:11 UTC

> night or day, @Zuluzeit ?
@Doc Night 2 of 3 times. Don't remember as much about the day event. Not sure why.

2020-12-13 22:09:11 UTC

@Maw Oh, no harm done. ๐Ÿ˜„

2020-12-13 22:09:45 UTC

I get your point, but it sets a bad example if other people don't know the context.

2020-12-13 22:09:46 UTC

day = more to process, memory functions break down easier. @Zuluzeit

2020-12-13 22:10:22 UTC

@Doc makes sense. It was different in many ways.
