Abrams main gun, is a smooth bore cannon. The howitzers on on the specter Iโm not sure are similar in build but there is 1 120mm gun I believe.
Iโm sorry, the AC130 I believe actually only has 105mm guns
I think the reason they donโt put the 120mm cannon on them is because it is too heavy.

The specter gunship was designed to provide CAS on ground targets, usually enemy armor. If you have ever watched the first transformers movie youโd see what they do.

Yeah, but their ability is limited. Because the specters munitions are mounted on the side of the craft. It can fly circles around its target and provide continuous CAS where apaches and warthogs have to do multiples strafes.
