My professor in my political theory class just said "Identitarianism is becoming more central to American political culture."
Nice.
@Ryonne that's huge! what kind of class is this?
Comparative politics, he also followed it up by saying Trump is a president who endorses identitarianism.
Wow nice
Real fascinating to hear that term outside of circles like this. Either its becoming mainstream or the prof is one of us.
3 months before the Finnish Parliamentary Elections, Twitter has shadowbanned the leader of the True Finns Party, Jussi Halla-aho.
When Chuck Schumer wears glasses on his nose, does it help him smell better?

@Hakujin - CA I should start a crowdfund to fund my trip to the Polish embassy so I can get my passport made and vote in the EU election
@Jacob You should.
Which party would you vote for though? Even PiS is cucked.
There's one called National Movement that's actually nationalistic
The political scene there is much more volatile and there's constantly parties coming and going
It's like the opposite of American politics. Here there's the same two parties for decades, but there you don't check the news for a month and there's some party that came out of nowhere that's now suddenly a massive player.
i need virtual shield
Are there any Californians who are in the LA/Bakersfield area? I flying into LA in a few weeks and have to drive from LA to Bakersfield; trying to figure out what the commute would be like at that time of the day. thanks
I'm about 3 hours north of Bakersfield, but I'm familiar with traffic between Bakersfield and LA. Assuming you're flying into LAX, it should only take you 2 to 3 hours. @Grayson
It depends on traffic.
@Jacob . I'm working on getting my dual citizenship with an EU country as well and I plan on voting as well.
oh I have citizenship
I was born with it
Mine seems like it'll be easy, I'm just not sure about my wife and kids. I'm getting mine and my mom's first and going from there.
it's just that I don't have the documents necessary to vote
Oh, then you're set.
well, I'm not
it's not like in the US where you can just vote
you have to have proper documentation
Passport?
yep
How long is that supposed to take you @Jacob ? What's the hold up?
it shouldn't take long
it's just that I'm a poor college student and I can't afford to take a trip to the embassy just like that
I bugged my parents about it my entire life and they had a billion opportunities to just get me a passport made but they never did
literally voter suppression lmao
Got a government no-fee passport yesterday
Wheres the nearest embassy or consulate? Sometimes they have temporary ones in areas to reach people who are far from them. I'd check the schedule.
yes they do have temporary ones in Seattle I think
