Anyways. They will help you. If you know one, ask them. They often have someone in the local church who volunteers to help anyone who is looking for help.
I don't think he was saying we need to change it from ancestry, just away from the religion stuff. But to answer the question, no, it's too cold for rain. @JayDon
@Drover Tom Good lord is that ever true. My grandmother keeps a whole bunch of 19th century black and white photos of my multiple generations of great grandparents, hanging up in her house and she shows them off to guests and sends them to me, whenever she finds a new one.
Ya I have two binders full of pictures and stuff our Mormon relatives found, its really cool
@DixieBoy76 - KY dude I'm gonna get the free trial on Ancestry and see if anything comes up
One of them is of my Grandfather when he was like 5 wearing lederhosen
nothing probably will
but might as well try
@Jacob For sure give it a shot and tell us what you find (no doxxing obviously)
lmao imagine getting doxxed because of your great grandpa
Thank goodness my chickens have started laying again!! I can finally eat
Looks yummy
Ours usually lay a good amount too
You need your relatives names and birthdays at minimum, up to the grandparents who are dead and then you can connect to the big online tree
Lawdy that’s a lot of eggs
How long do well cared for domestic chickens live?
It’s been so cold that they went on strike but the amount of day light is really what triggers them
@Mitchell-TX my grandparents were from 300 person villages that probably have no records
but worth a try I guess
Chickens can have a live span of a dozen years but it depends on the breed too and of course a 10 year old hen won’t lay eggs anymore
@Jacob in cases like that, you may have to travel to those places. Depending where it’s at you could call and see if anyone could help you. Towns in the US have been very helpful in my experience but they are rapidly digitizing everything in the US so no need to travel
oof
12 eggs? what're you fasting or something?
uh
isn't that the opposite of fasting?
Lol 😂 these eggs are from s smaller breed of chicken called: Old English Bantam so their eggs are smaller; about half the size of a regular chicken egg
cute
Bawk bawk 🐔
I remember in middle school we had a family tree assignment and I got a bad grade because I didn't have a big enough family tree 😥
I just realized the mayflower landed only 70 years prior to the oldest ancestors I’ve found
They had to have yeeted over from England either with the Mayflower or slightly after
I just got the free trial
>tfw filling out family tree and don't even know my parents' birth dates
@Jacob oh no, not a small family tree 😦
well uh this is awkward
Man being an immigrant is rough man
Sorry
oh God no don't bring that up again
