My family fought, was wounded, and died in the civil war. Many of my family. Fathers, Brothers, and cousins all were wounded and died on the same battle fields. And to see yankees and everyone else standing with me to save my heritage. It really warms my southern heart and I really do think my ancestors are smiling now.

I know this isn't what the movement is solely about, but my southern history was important to me since I was a child. Even if we don't save all the monuments and statues and memorials it still means a lot to us
