Its not exactly fair but its ideal
Striving for equality and altruism will get us back into the streets starving again
Have you ever asked what is the root of money? Money is a tool of exchange, which can’t exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that men who wish to deal with one another must deal by trade and give value for value. Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil?
Altruism will lead us to gas chambers and gulags
Currentsy has always been simple a medium to gage value for trade... It is neither good nor evil. Human nature however can be both, either or or neither.
Communism has killed more people across this planet than any other form of politics, It can not function based on the simple principle that it runs in direct contradiction to human nature.
Communism is a manifestation of altruism
Communism is Altruism taken to the irrational and pathological end.
You just dont like the result of this so called "moral" virtue you cant have reason and altruism man has one mind not a collection of mind man has to sustain one body not a group
*Its not real altruism* Where have I heard that before? Oh right, Communists!
You hold the individual belongs to the state or the group
Altruism can help people, but it is dependent on the ability of others to absorb the loss in giving, forcing "Altruism" doesn't help.
For eons, Charity has been the private manifestation of Altruism, when ever something like that is taken over by large groups or even worse the government, corruption and suffering take over
The ethics of altruism advocate a sacrifice to someone else, anything else can be considered a gain thus cant considered altruism
Cept there is limited resource so assigining a value to things is pretty important and why altruism fails
Yes, because limited resources makes genocides happen
Unchecked Greed and hatred create Genocides
Except it was for the group and it was altruistic in premise
Humans create genocide. Hell, genocides are constants
Hitler did not live for himself he lived for his group
And we make groupa to survive enocunters with other groups
Ok well I have work to do.
And he killed millions of people for his group.
Yes
Why do people forget aboriginals killed other aboriginals all the time. If they had the capacity, they woulda also pulled a hitler
Capitalism at the beginning was very selfish it said you own your life you are not a slave to some state or group and we flourished
When we killed in our interests we stopped a war
I also appreciate that most wars end with a surrender because you can gain from a surrender vs total anhilation.
America's only crime has been to give up liberty
America the selfish system flourished and you want to destroy it @Khanclansith
He already left o3o. I think the way it is now, where the strong look out for the weak is ideal.
No, I do not owe the weak anything
Well its part of the economic system, owing in return for the labor. Its just people need someone to organize them, a leader.
Yes, because they want it, it is not my job to lead but those who want to lead for their own *selfish* desires
The only moral achievement in a man's life is his happiness
Yea. Never did say anyone owes anything anyway. Just the strong looking out for the weak is how it ended up being
At least there is incentives to keep cities well maintained etc cause the market needs to keep moving at a healthy rate is what i mean
At the core, the CHOICE to give to the poor is best. I’ve always found it odd that capitalism is completely against most principles of the Christian beliefs. Were it not for Christian beliefs, capitalism would go crazy. Still, much of the work of those who believe in communism stole their ideas from Adam Smith. They also fail to give from their pies like those Christian capitalists. Interesting dichotomies.
Adam Smith was the first to write about caring for the workers. We need to revisit his ideas, and incorporate more in that direction.
