i am from the UK, our news is pretty much going with biden winning
@CML the bbc cover every bad story about trump and every good story about biden. i think a lot of people like trump in the UK because he is straight talking
I dont watch CNN, are they covering the legal challenges at all?
@james j did you see the model presented to the arizona hearing?
its pretty hard to get an alien to testify
for the lawyers, is it a better strategy to have all these separate lawsuits (the trump campaign, armistad, texas one, sidney powell) or to group them?
the judge in sidney powel's case that was dismissed yesterday asked her whether trump could still win or something like that. how is that relevant?
so if their is fraud, and it would flip georgia, but trump still wouldnt win as a whole then it is not worth following?
@james j doesnt the judge have to assume that she is presenting the truth in a case to dismiss?
actually joe biden did say that when asked that voters dont deserve to know
@RobertGrulerEsq shows like yours are really important because of what seams like a media blackout at the present time
why do you think aliens would even care about earth?
@james j what percent of the universe?
@busillis can you prove extracurriculars exist first?
@busillis that is one person not under oath
@meglide i would read that as a lot of people believe him given he raised so much
@meglide but it isnt over yet, there is still at least another few weeks to go
@meglide do you have the equivalent numbers for the DNC?
https://secure.joebiden.com/a/bidenfightfund , i like how the amounts start at $2,800
according to npr both have raised similar amounts and spent about the same proportion https://www.npr.org/2020/05/20/858347477/money-tracker-how-much-trump-and-biden-have-raised-in-the-2020-election
trump has a greater proportion of smaller donations
@markmen well i would argue that compared with biden trump has much less corporate support and in-kind contributions
@meglide well only in the sense that biden is somewhat seen as a driver of socialist policies
do you think it would be wise for biden to let the gop take the two senate seats in GA?
you may end up with AOC
so is it wrong to have a different political point?
@james j so the difference is trump wants a list from his own party's elected officials, whereas aoc wants a list of "supporters" "enablers" etc,
suppose someone lies, what then?
people lie all the time, it is not unique to republicans
@james j yes but these are against elected officials, its very specific
@james j but that assumes that their view can never change, do you agree?
@james j what is your main issue with trump? i am asking honestly
@james j i could say the same about almost any of the EU leaders, but there isnt the same distain for them.
now is a hard time to be a leader, they want to go back to the quieter times
boris is lazy
and the press in the UK has so much freedom he cant even take a walk without a camera in his face
@AdamS there is a lot more journalism, when i read US news its just opinions
CNN or Fox would not be allowed in the UK for example
in the US you have news like epoch times which is similar to some of the style of news we have
spectator is a bit like it also
@markmen how many states joined with texas so far?
they had some access to the dominion machines from a court order but i didnt hear any results of that today
i wanted to keep an eye on that also
i got the data from the NYT and the spikes are real, and so many times where the vote counts go down
@Dedkraken but they could just be recounting the same fake ballot that contains no voter information on it
@Dedkraken at the very least there are a large number of witnesses that call into question the procedure for checking the ballot is legal
All of the cases are getting dismissed for "administrative" reasons
not because of lack of evidence
@TaLoN132 there is an easy way to tell or not, do you think they should try to block them from trying?
convince me that they shouldn't investigate the fraud "claims" thoroughly
@Zuluzeit i agree completely
in their statement GA senators said they require 3/5ths to conduct a special session, but is this is factually true?
@TaLoN132 the main issue i have with that is that the same people that are being accused of running a fraudulent election are the ones that are tasked with auditing it to a large extent. Also I am not sure that the claims are baseless.
@TaLoN132 ok but in the risk limiting audits what exactly are they counting, as far i understand the piece of paper with the vote is separate from the information about the voter. i assume to preserve the anonymity of the voter. so in this is true would the same audit catch people who didn't have a legal right to vote for example?
what was the point to buy all those voting machines, they end up hand counting them all anyway
@AdamS but it has taken them longer than ever to count, indeed i believe some counties still counting a month later
the money on those voting machines was wasted, what did they spend in GA something like 107m?
yes but what is the argument for the machines? which other countries in the west use them? maybe for a large state you could argue its more efficient
@Dedkraken but what is the benefit of a voting machine, if you wanted it to be electronic you could do it over the internet in the same way you can do your taxes online, do a passport application etc.
yes but there are many cases when you trust internet systems, why should voting be any different?
sure, but it wouldnt cost 107m per state to setup
@james j why have the machine, why not just do online voting in the same way you do banking, taxes, airline tickets etc
people said the same thing about banking and online shopping being insecure
also banks regularly get audited and they have to pass numerous tests
the reason i personally dont believe they will give you online voting is because it makes the voting process too easy, citizens will demand voting on more things. if its a convoluted process then they can justify one vote every 2 years or so
people are being censored now
@slidingedge yes and its wrong in a free society
if they are a publisher then youtube will get sued, so they have to censor people, therefore people wont say/post anything and bingo youtube doesnt have a business model.
@leftingfighter33 brilliant example i will use that
@busillis you have competition law?
@busillis yes anti-trust, we call it competition policy
which do you think has the best chance out of bitchute , rumble and the many others?
@busillis do you think that texas et al has more standing than in the kelly case?
but in the case of the SC there is 9 judges so the decision is at least a little more shared no?
yes i agree its a mess
its pretty sad that the decisions could be based on the risk of repercussions
the people burning the place down seam to be a very small group though
well from what i understand of antifa they are not particularly fond of biden either
i mean they dont want any government
i was surprised just how long the chad went on for
even the major moved out right ๐
these people ruin the place for everyone else then move out
the women for Michigan you mean?
yes what she said was vile
its just stupid not to be able to talk with people from the other side
without all the rhetoric
@kubes i think that might be a side effect rather than a strategy
historically the margin of victory has always been pretty small
i think its largely because of covid and the mail in voting gets people to vote who probably wouldnt bother going in person
clearly that benefits biden
there is a voting technology being proposed by MIT, an american system
its not in their interest to let you do it electronically
@busillis cant you currently check it on the state website
i am sure there are algorithms that could be used in the voting system to verify your vote, we use this in encryption to check the validity of certificates
@markmen the ones in Nevada?
do they prosecute people for fraud though, i saw some high profile cases in PA before the election but nothing since
@RobertGrulerEsq there are plenty of places to watch people pick apart the lawsuits, you are one of the few that look at the procedures and explains the technical legal jargon.
@HappyHappyHappy thanks
