This is... disappointing.

Welcome to it, Carlos. Wish it was under more auspicious circumstances.

This is costing men worthwhile wisdom. DDJ's archive is still filled with solid legal advice that he, by his behavior, might as well have piled up and burned like so many men who 'knew better'.

He's destroying his own well to poison TFM's.

@Felix Von Nordkrieg It's his ego. It is not unique to him, that self-destruction, and this should serve as a lesson to every man here to remain aware of his flaws.

If you've ever seen a Greek play, this isn't unique. It's certainly not new.

@Carlos_Kingston Bizarre as it's going to be to say this, considering what's happening right now, go back through DDJ's old content and get that war chest of yours banded with steel, brother.

@Carlos_Kingston You're making the right call.

@ZODD Nothing. It's his ego and he feels justified.

I thought it was just part of TFM's "brand", as it were. Not once did I think he believed she was real.

With your hand? Or... other extremities?

Scratches come after.

I think TFM's initial response was justified. Getting nuked from orbit by a guy you thought was your friend less than 24 hours ago isn't something you just take in stride.

*had options. Before DDJ aired their dirty laundry like a bitter wife.

DDJ is an object lesson in why you should move toward yourself as a man, not just away from women. He made no bones about being anti-feminist as a foundational aspect.

@Xychotic I think that's an entirely reasonable stance to take.

I watch TFM for entertainment, at this point. huMAN's more my speed and while I greatly appreciate HHH, I listen to him the way I listen to old sermons: I know it's not for me, but it's excellent reaffirmation.

@Xychotic Oh, that's the public speaking/convention arm of RMG, yeah? (21 Studios)

More a business relationship?

@Cato_Malgus He had the 2nd video recorded before TFM's response.

@Cato_Malgus I worked with DDJ on sourcing his videos before he took his long break last year. He tends to make multiple videos and chain-releases them around any responses.

@Cato_Malgus I think it's a lawyer thing, planning three steps ahead of the other... even if they walk in an entirely different direction than you're planning.

@Cato_Malgus I think that's patently obvious at this point, to be sure.

@Xychotic I'd agree, but we disagree on what the second party does when the first airs the laundry.

I've left women on the side of the highway for cracking open a can of worms to their family and friends. I see no sense in civility with a savage.

Don't mix up the red and black wires, shadow.

Can you put the politicians out with the recyclables, while you're at it? In the compost bin.

Fair point, janitor work is beautifully peaceful. Cleaned office buildings when I was in college, too (no food, though. Fucker.).

Awful lot of armchair psychologists talking about how "unhealthy" and "extreme" TFM's anthropomorphizing of Celestina is. Done counseling for teens and seen kids who legitimately personified objects; if TFM indeed thinks Celestina is real, it's the tamest I've ever seen.

Then again, I'm the guy who thinks it's unhealthy how men project their preferred virtues onto cockholsters who don't even reflect them passingly. So take my criticism with its own grain of salt.

This happened with Miggy, too, all these sock puppets suddenly appearing to concern troll over dolls. Where are all these cats when there's not a controversy to bandwagon?

Or watching RMG videos and price shopping for soap. Who's to say.

I'm turning 35 this year. That's doing a lot of the heavy lifting for me.

(But, seriously, don't take anything that supposedly reduces your libido. I know it's like being chained to a madman, 24/7, but don't dose yourself with ~~cancer~~ estrogen to silence him.)

About as often as you need to get a new console to keep up with console graphics; once every 4 to 5 years.

Except fewer parts, since silicon processors have sort of capped out.

$400 from base if you build yourself, +$200 for each upgrade, unless you want to run shit on Ultra.

Yep. Could stretch it to 6 or 7 years with the advent of things like reShade and SweetFX.

reShade makes games even on a potato look better than console.

That's actually not a bad deal, all together and prebuilt.

There's a lot of PCs between that and $200, though, for not much of a performance loss, all told.

@Esquilotron How do you mean?

Ask away

^ I have to ask, I'm old enough to remember exactly that being the case.

Money always talks.

@The-Free-Monk Do you still live with them?

@Kaiser Dion Napoleon Works together better than you think.

@Dango_chan Get it resold or preowned.

@Roundabout Lout I wouldn't say that. It's more that they realize who their customers are and don't care about people who aren't buying the product.

Most of them bend the knee to Japan's gynocentrism out of practicality, then go make their money anyway.

*Caved. 2019's been brutal to these companies and I wouldn't be surprised if we end the year with double-digits of the AAA industry teams shuttered or on the verge of.

@Kaiser Dion Napoleon FIFA, NBA2K, and Madden still hold position in the top 5 slots of games sold every year. Too many normies.

You'd be right. @haku.

75/25 split female/male, nearly.

The meme is that the AAA industry treats mobile gaming like a legitimate market and the content they release will somehow boom like Candy Crush if they make Diablo Mobile.

It won't for the same reasons women don't play CoD, and it doesn't surprise me their marketing teams are too fucking stupid to see why the idea is a bad one because it's packed with diversity hires.

Lot of moving pieces to lead up to it.

@The-Free-Monk Then you should have a PC.

Night, brother. @Roundabout Lout

Can I ask how old you are, Esquil?

I think you might be suffering the plight of the man who was told to sit on a mountain for a week and not think of an elephant.

@Esquilotron If you're thinking this much about how you don't want to have sex, you're still spending a lot of time thinking about having sex.

"Distract yourself from this" might sound like a platitude, but I think it's a legitimate solution in your case.

Hmmm. My advice: Give yourself a month where you get a quick, vanilla fap out in the morning. Have a go-to list, something that requires a minimal amount of thought and effort. Throughout the day, when you catch yourself sitting and thinking about sex or staring at a girl, find some replacement behavior for that. Pick a book series, jump on the Discord and talk about something else, or drop and hammer out 20 pushups. Doesn't really matter as long as it's a distraction that works.

As a general rule, if you've got time to be thinking about a thot, you've got time you could be working out, learning a new skill, making money, or learning about something you don't know.

@Esquilotron Please be careful with SSRIs.

Especially at your age.

You're still 3 to 5 years from full brain development and you're at the neuroelasticity and habit-building phase, the set that lets you really expand your knowledge and self-awareness.

Yeah, that shit's poison to the male brain.

As men approach 25 to 28, their brains work on a lot of "entrenching". Muscle memory, logic habits, pattern recognition.

Think of a grid of dots connected only by vertical or horizontal lines. A man's 20s is what draws diagonal lines between all those dots.

@haku. Focus on a skillset that'll make you money, doesn't drive you insane, and improve/expand on it.

You can learn new information and study philosophy or the like at any age, but reteaching yourself skills gets painfully difficult after you're 30.

Medical/physiological reasons?

Later. Thank you, that's a relief to hear.

You'd be surprised how efficient you'll get at it if you build it as a habit.

Using the shower, more specifically.

Define "real job".

@haku. You have any aversion to physical labor?

Might have to bite the bullet on it.

Just as a point of practicality.

@haku. Best other option is learn a coding language. Might take you a year to build a portfolio. Python with little-to-no experience will get you into most places at $30-35k (USD) a year.

Python's just C++ with more shortcuts.

Wrap that up and find a place that'll pay you to do it. Sock away what you can and spend at least 2% of your take-home on Udemy learning another language. Java, Ruby, Swift, whatever.

Then work on improving what you know.

Like I said, you don't suddenly lose the ability to learn new things no matter how old you get, really... but the difficulty to learn those new skills increases exponentially after 25.

It's a compounding thing. You didn't work on your portfolio because you didn't learn javascript because you didn't study enough because you didn't stick to the habit because you ingrained fucking around because you weren't building foundational behaviors. Etc. etc.

You're 25, yeah? Or 24?

When I was your age I'd just dropped out of seminary less than 4 years prior, spent almost a year having a surfer chick pay my bills while I fucked off at her apartment all day, wound up homeless for a little longer, and never held more than a kitchen or construction job for more than 6 months at a time.

You're not going to get a very strong "you should have been working" opinion from me because I've got no room to talk.

I cleaned office buildings over the weekend for spending money in college, but my parents foot the bill for tuition. Only thing I paid for in nearly 6 years out of pocket was my car, food, gas, and the odd t-shirt. It's never too late to start doing something, man. Believe me.

Volunteer for night shift. Cushy job, low effort, affords you plenty of time to read.

Pro tip: write your resume to fit the job you're applying for.
