Is that what happens in autocratic societies? Genuinely asking here. I'm still yet to get a good grip on politics (15 years old), but banning and going against degeneracy is always just a step to a greater moralization of society. You can't moralize your people if pipelines for degeneracy are still there. While it may not be an absolute solution, I don't believe there is an absolute solution.

I think that any sort of system we implement will fall to some sort of decline at some point. We can think about the Deluge and other such occurrences as examples. Even this latest sham we call democracy has become subverted by liberal values.

Norik, you're right to say that we should attempt to centralize some sort of power amongst us before acting. A planned and organized movement with a direction is always better. Mostly due to the effects richer countries have had on the culture through globalization.

@21ooAB I had gotten myself into a relationship before becoming serious about reactionary and traditional Catholic thought. It was a very ambivalent affair for me. My growing vision for what I could do and wanted to do (discipline myself, become a better man, dedicate myself to something greater, and become an instrument for the good of God) diverged with my relationship with her. I wanted to become something she couldn't get anything out of. I really didn't want to hurt her, because she's a good girl, so I told her all this in detail and was very transparent about it. Right now she's not very happy though.

@Norik French philisophe who was vehemently against the growing liberalism in France circa the French Revolution and wrote a lot of very good essays on his thoughts against liberalism and traditional conservative values.

He is one of the many from France who established the intellectual attack on liberalism, believing its faults to be ideological and intellectual rather than simply the roots of a ruthless constitution or war.

I listened to some bits and pieces of The Dark Knight Trilogy's soundtrack today, and it made me think. One lesson from failed systems (think the Soviet Union) is that once ordinary people stop believing in it the system collapses. We were shocked at how quickly a superpower collapsed, but in a way it had been dead a long time before its outward collapse. Perhaps we're seeing a repeat of that in the liberal world order, when the political correctness that protects the system's first principles (multiculturalism, diversity, internationalism, enlightenment, etc.) finally crumble. After all, we're already seeing the injection of these into our popular culture. Will we realize, I wonder, how much we have lost before it is too late?
