literally the only thing that truly matters is having lots of children and voting out pro-immigration politicians

2020-03-02 17:22:00 UTC

Lmao how can a penniless high school senior build capital? I have an index fund and a growing resume on github plus connections to some public figures but that’s about it

2020-03-02 17:22:23 UTC

go to a good university and build connections

2020-03-02 17:22:27 UTC

that's a good start

2020-03-02 17:22:47 UTC

Thats what I plan to do. But I thought you meant right now

2020-03-02 17:23:15 UTC

I’m trying to get into a T20 University

2020-03-02 17:23:17 UTC
2020-03-02 17:23:48 UTC

My applocation is fantastic but I won’t share it because doxxing

2020-03-02 17:24:23 UTC

Good on you TRC. I'm glad that a fellow high-schooler is in this server and has plans to make good of themselves. Generally we've hit the mark I think: be good people.

2020-03-02 17:26:00 UTC

That's vague, but the essence of it is to essentially act with wise moral and political motivations.

2020-03-02 17:26:14 UTC

Yeah

2020-03-02 17:26:30 UTC

You’re not gonna save the world if you can’t even make a decent life for yourself

2020-03-02 17:26:46 UTC

Peterson is exactly right about that

2020-03-02 17:27:38 UTC

Indeed. I don't agree with Peterson on certain topics, but his self-help stuff is something I can agree to with a grain of salt.

2020-03-02 17:28:08 UTC

Used to be the biggest fan boy of him though lol.

2020-03-02 17:28:34 UTC

That was during my libertarian phase.

2020-03-02 17:29:28 UTC

At the time, individualism and classical liberal values seemed to be the best response to progressivism and hard-left-wing ideology, because anything is better than a blatant libtard.

2020-03-02 17:30:35 UTC

I'm still not cleansed or have washed off modernity, but I'm working to get there.

2020-03-02 17:31:09 UTC

I never listened to him

2020-03-02 17:31:15 UTC

Found him boring

2020-03-02 17:33:15 UTC

He's a good gateway to mild right-wing ideas though. The problem is when people actually don't go further than him with the genesis of right-wing thought.

2020-03-02 17:34:16 UTC

Now, someone like, say, Ben Shapiro, on the other hand, now there's a prick.

2020-03-02 17:53:17 UTC

Peterson’s message is extremely valuable insofar as it argues for Christianity from a distinctly scientific and Darwinist perspective, which is nearly ubiquitous among young men in the postmodern west.

2020-03-02 17:53:41 UTC

You’d have to be retarded not to understand the power and significance of that

2020-03-02 17:54:18 UTC

Granted, he’s at best a stepping stone into the broader right-wing line of thought, rather than an end in himself

2020-03-02 17:54:59 UTC

Although Peterson is an atheist

2020-03-02 18:03:01 UTC

Eh

2020-03-02 18:03:10 UTC

Well there’s an interesting discussion there

2020-03-02 18:03:26 UTC

Of whether one can be a Christian in his actions

2020-03-02 18:03:32 UTC

And whether that is sufficient for our ends

2020-03-02 18:04:40 UTC

I’d rather live in a country of atheists acting out traditional Christian lives than a communist third world Christian country like Angola

2020-03-02 18:04:56 UTC

Where their “Christianity” is just liberation theology anyway

2020-03-02 18:19:54 UTC

You're either Christian or you are not.

2020-03-02 18:19:58 UTC

Peterson is not.

2020-03-02 18:20:34 UTC

I’ve seen several people claim that they became far right through Peterson

My issue is Peterson is his obsession with individualism, how he upholds it and rejects group identity, whether it be religious, ethnic, cultural, none of that matters because your ancestors don’t have *any* effect on your current actions

He legitimately said once that you should not celebrate what they did because *they did that*, you *didn’t*, which is preposterous

2020-03-02 18:20:35 UTC

Peterson is pretty irrelevant at this point and always was overrated

2020-03-02 18:21:28 UTC

Peterson is irrelevant, yeah.

2020-03-02 18:21:37 UTC

I don't like Norik's pessimistic outlook. Also just looking at history the mutligenerational struggle idea is a joke
Grassroots doesn't work, especially if your group stops being a majority

2020-03-02 18:22:01 UTC

Communists had this idea of the inevitability of communism which just ended up sedating them

2020-03-02 18:22:05 UTC

I didn’t even see him as that big a thing

2020-03-02 18:22:15 UTC

Anyone who might go through some sort of Peterson to Reactionary pipeline has probably already done so
