Franco didn't provide a plan for the future. As soon as he died, Spain became a normal liberal country.

2020-03-02 16:08:12 UTC

same with Salazar and Portugal

2020-03-02 16:09:32 UTC

^this

2020-03-02 16:09:39 UTC

Franco is laughably overrated

2020-03-02 16:10:10 UTC

The state is useless at fostering a positive culture

2020-03-02 16:10:28 UTC

All it can do is kill degenerates, which doesn’t address the root causes of degeneracy

2020-03-02 16:10:50 UTC

So as soon as your autocratic leader is gone everything goes back to shit

2020-03-02 16:11:17 UTC

You need to fundamentally reshape societal incentives

2020-03-02 16:11:35 UTC

Read Uncle Ted

2020-03-02 16:27:22 UTC

Ted Kacyzinski?

2020-03-02 16:32:17 UTC

Ted Cruz?

2020-03-02 16:32:22 UTC

ted bundy?

2020-03-02 16:54:32 UTC

TED talks?

2020-03-02 16:54:47 UTC

@Norik Well, nothing can address and *cure* the root causes of degeneracy aside from Christ Himself

But it’s better than sitting back and encouraging it like the modern state is doing

2020-03-02 16:56:33 UTC

yes but killing people and pretending like the problem isn't there *clearly* doesn't work

2020-03-02 16:56:38 UTC

if anything it made things worse

2020-03-02 16:56:55 UTC

spain is probably the single most cultmarx country in western europe, and that's saying something

2020-03-02 16:57:08 UTC

Make the people afraid and let them know that their behavior, indoctrinating children into pedophilic behaviors, running around half naked in silly pride parades

Let them know that this isn’t acceptable and let them know that their behavior won’t let them off scot free

2020-03-02 16:57:35 UTC

Just like they did in the days of old

2020-03-02 16:58:56 UTC

People were stoned for that which we see today, with witnesses I’m sure, and public hangings were a spectacle people gathered around for

2020-03-02 16:59:27 UTC

Is that what happens in autocratic societies? Genuinely asking here. I'm still yet to get a good grip on politics (15 years old), but banning and going against degeneracy is always just a step to a greater moralization of society. You can't moralize your people if pipelines for degeneracy are still there. While it may not be an absolute solution, I don't believe there is an absolute solution.

We can only work under pragmatic terms.

2020-03-02 16:59:40 UTC

^

2020-03-02 16:59:42 UTC

idk it's hard to say

2020-03-02 16:59:48 UTC

There can’t be an absolute solution

2020-03-02 17:00:16 UTC

What we do know is that every regime resembling Franco's ends up fostering a popular culture that's radically anti-traditional

2020-03-02 17:00:41 UTC

see spain, south korea, most of latin america

2020-03-02 17:01:03 UTC

Degeneracy comes from human corruption, from the *fall of Man*

Nobody can sort that fall out except for Christ, which he did on the Cross technically

There’s no way to remove it completely

But I reiterate, just because we can’t scrub it completely doesn’t mean we have to sit down and encourage it or let it run rampant with loose hands

2020-03-02 17:01:13 UTC

Because the reactionary regimes can be used for future propaganda.

2020-03-02 17:01:25 UTC

Maybe even canada to some extent. Pierre Trudeau didn't come out of nowhere

2020-03-02 17:01:31 UTC

By the left I mean.

2020-03-02 17:02:32 UTC

I think that any sort of system we implement will fall to some sort of decline at some point. We can think about the Deluge and other such occurrences as examples. Even this latest sham we call democracy has become subverted by liberal values.

2020-03-02 17:03:53 UTC

@Pictures At An Exhibition Its a natural cycle. The end goal is a long lasting reactionary state and I will consider it successful if it lasts beyond me

2020-03-02 17:04:13 UTC

A virgin nation is perfect as it would not have an solidified identity

2020-03-02 17:04:26 UTC

We can fill that void

2020-03-02 17:04:29 UTC

If we are smart

2020-03-02 17:04:35 UTC

But with a centralized and well-established autocracy, at least the power is able to be under the scrutiny of the people and the monarch would have to fear getting essentially lynched.

2020-03-02 17:04:40 UTC

yeah but there's no such thing as a "virgin nation" anymore

2020-03-02 17:04:44 UTC

not on this planet

2020-03-02 17:04:51 UTC

@Norik By virgin nation, I mean new nation

2020-03-02 17:05:00 UTC

yeah not gonna happen

2020-03-02 17:05:12 UTC

nations arise organically
