@Nightranger732 Nope we don't have a federal gov yet and I kinda predicted that it would be impossible. The largest walloon party PS or Parti Socialist refuses to work with the largest Flemish party NVA or New Flemish Alliance. So the PS aims for a ultra left Socialist-Green government while the NVA tries a 'centrist' government.(like it is even possible)

In the end I imagine new elections might happen and it's only gonna be more polarized with Vlaams Belang(the considered far right) to win on Flemish side and the PS and Green to get more votes on Walloons side

I was thinking the same I see a lot of fearmongering and anger from comments on this attack and doing a bit of digging if what I read is to believed Iran likely lied about having no military presence in Irak,may have instigated the attack on the US ambassy in Baghdad and theirs the question why an Iran general went to Irak. Considering the flu does kill about 600K in a year Corona still has a long way to go till it's there.
Most deaths are from people that are 50+ or those with pre-existing medical conditions which is pretty much the same for the flu so unless you fall under that. You should be fine.

@Scale_e True and I do believe a part of this panic may be the cause of governments acting to lax but there needs to be either a social pressure or some police to at least ease these panic buyers. Here in Belgium you can't do it so easily anymore sinds we have cops at every major shop. But at the same time I still bash my head against the wall when I hear the "experts" on tv say it would be easier if we'd just close our border...... like that should be the no.1 thing you do in a pandemic.

@ryvergate I believe this is partially due to mass migration. It overloads the healthcare sector added that the western ethnic people tend to not have many children. It can be other factors but I haven't fully looked into those.

The symptons for most people are mild I believe the issue lies more on how fast corona has been capable of spreading causing like in that article hospitals becoming overloaded and more frequent vulnerable people being targeted thus killing more.

I'm sorry if I made a misunderstanding but I was replying as to why vaccines don't work always and that's because Viruses mutate a lot causing it to bypass it's effects but even if it helps only 20%, I will take them honestly.
