Well tbf if only Syrian refugees arrived then like 100k would have left at most and the majority would have been back in Syria by now the problem is most of them are from Africa or other parts of the Middle East
And the ones that were allowed to trek across need to be booted back to where ever.

depends, Syria is still on most countries 'unsafe' list, if parliament think its safe, they can move it to the 'safe countries list' and then Syrians are no longer a protected group
idk the procedure for that though, usually there is a review of a countries status every once in a while
If it's so unsafe, why are we accepting people from over there tbh, with the capacity of bringing the danger with them
